Prior Art As mentioned above, when an elastic belt is overlapped and sewn on the outside of the edge of a cylindrical fabric, the edge of the cylindrical fabric, which tends to be uneven, is covered by the elastic belt, resulting in a good appearance. This is preferable because it improves the quality of the product and increases the product value.

Conventionally, as seen in Japanese Patent Publication No. 60-43992, an elastic belt is wound around a fabric hanging roller with the front and back sides reversed, and the edges of a cylindrical fabric that is also reversed are attached. The cylindrical fabric is fitted onto the fabric hanging roller so that the end portion of the cylindrical fabric overlaps the elastic belt, and the overlapping portion between the edge of the cylindrical fabric and the elastic belt is sewn from the cylindrical fabric side. After that, the cylindrical fabric is turned inside out to obtain a sewn product.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, the work of repeatedly turning the front and back sides is extremely troublesome, and sewing machine suturing devices inherently have different stitches between the front and back sides, and naturally the front side is beautiful. Due to the structure of the sewing machine, the seams on the back side would be exposed when the sewing product was turned inside out, resulting in a somewhat unsightly appearance, so there was room for improvement. .

Means for Solving the Problems A method for sewing a cylindrical fabric according to the present invention to achieve the above-mentioned object has a method for sewing a cylindrical fabric according to the present invention, in which a plurality of sets of guide belts are arranged around a horizontal axis of rotation perpendicular to the sewing direction. A pair of rotary fabric edge guide devices that are reciprocally movable are disposed on both sides of the sewing machine suturing device in the sewing direction, and are fitted onto the pair of fabric edge guide devices and rotated by a guide belt. A fabric edge detection sensor is provided to stop driving the guide belt when the edge of the cylindrical fabric transferred to the rear side in the axial direction enters the reference stitching range. A belt hanging device for winding an elastic belt around the edge portion and a belt positioning device for regulating the winding position of the elastic belt wound around the belt hanging device in a predetermined manner are disposed,
The next step is to wind an elastic belt around the belt hanger and to adjust the elastic belt to a predetermined position using the belt positioning device; moving the guide belt rearward in the direction of the rotational axis so that the edge of the cylindrical fabric is fitted into the standard sewing range; A process of passing a belt overlapping the edge of the cylindrical fabric that has entered the reference sewing range, and sewing the overlapping part of the cylindrical fabric and the elastic belt by sewing the overlapping part of the cylindrical fabric and the elastic belt by rotating the pair of fabric edge guide devices synchronously. A sewn product is obtained through a step of suturing with a device, and a step of removing the sewn product by moving the guide belt forward in the direction of the rotational axis after cutting the thread after completing the specified suturing. It is.

Function: An elastic belt is overlapped with a predetermined relative positional relationship on the outside of the edge of a cylindrical fabric fitted into a pair of fabric edge guide devices, and the overlapping part is sewn from the elastic belt side. In this way, it is possible to obtain a sewn product with good-looking seams on the elastic belt side, with the elastic belt positioned outside the edge of the cylindrical fabric, without the need for turning the inside out. .

When the sewing start end reaches the vicinity of the belt hanging mechanism 5 on the upstream side in the sewing direction Q, as shown in FIG. Hang 1
2 and 12 are switched to the contracted state C and suturing is continued. Next, when the suture starting end reaches near the separator 19, the separator 19 is switched to the non-working position I and the ruler 21 is raised.
After the stitching is continued so as to overlap the stitching start ends, the sewing machine stitching device 1 and the fabric edge guide device 3 are stopped.

In addition, if the cylindrical fabric 17 in which the cylindrical seam portion does not have a large difference in level is to be targeted, the fabric adhesion control mechanism 7 is controlled by the two sensors 6, 6.
It is also possible to control the end edge portion to fall within the standard suturing range J determined by the two sensors.

Effects of the Invention As explained above, the method for sewing a cylindrical fabric according to the present invention has a method of sewing an elastic material with a predetermined relative positional relationship on the outside of the edge of a cylindrical fabric fitted in a pair of fabric edge guide devices. This method involves polymerizing the belts and sewing the overlapping portion from the elastic belt side, without requiring the conventional work of turning the elastic belt and cylindrical fabric inside out, and without further reversing the front and back sides after sewing. With the elastic belt positioned outside the edge of the cylindrical fabric without turning it over, it is possible to obtain a sewn product with good-looking seams on the elastic belt side, and the sewing method is simple. Through significant improvements, it has become possible to solve the problems in the prior art.

[Scope of Claims] 1 A pair of rotary fabric edge guide devices each comprising a plurality of sets of guide belts movable back and forth in the direction of the rotation axis perpendicular to the sewing direction are used for sewing machine stitching. The edge of the cylindrical fabric placed on both sides of the device in the sewing direction, fitted in the pair of fabric edge guide devices, and transferred to the rear side in the direction of the rotation axis by the guide belt is the reference stitching range. a belt hook for winding an elastic belt around the edge of the cylindrical fabric in the reference sewing range; A belt positioning device is arranged to adjust the winding position of the elastic belt wound around the belt to a predetermined position, and the next step is to wind the elastic belt around the belt hanging device, and to attach the elastic belt to the belt. a step of positioning the cylindrical fabric in a predetermined position using a positioning tool; and a guide belt so as to fit the edge of the cylindrical fabric into the pair of fabric edge guide devices so that the edge of the cylindrical fabric falls within the standard sewing range. a step of moving the elastic belt to the rear side in the direction of the rotation axis, and a step of hanging the belt so that the elastic belt wound around the belt hanger overlaps the edge of the cylindrical fabric that has entered the reference sewing range; a step of synchronously rotating the pair of fabric edge guide devices to sew the overlapping portion of the cylindrical fabric and the elastic belt using a sewing machine stitching device; A method for sewing a cylindrical fabric, comprising: a step of moving the fabric toward the front in the direction of the core to take out the sewn article; and obtaining a sewn article through the above steps.
