Description
【考案の詳細な説明】
この考案はラジエータグリルの下部に設置さ
れ、ラジエータへの通風のための空気取入口を有

近年の大型化した樹脂バンパにあつては、ラジ
エータグリルに加えて、ラジエータへの通風を確
保するために、長手方向に沿つた細長い空気取入
口を開口形成したものが多く、これは例えば第1
図に示す如く構成されている。即ち1は合成樹脂
製のバンパバー、2はバツクアツプビームであつ
て、これらバンパバー1およびバツクアツプビー
ム2は図外のステイを介して車体に支持される。
また、3はフロントクロスメンバ、4はラジエー
タ、5はラジエータグリルを示し、上記バンパバ
ー1はラジエータグリル5の下部に設置され、ラ
ジエータ4への通風を確保するための空気取入口
6が開口形成されているとともに、これにより剛
性が不足する空気取入口6下部1aを補強部材7

は、空気取入口6を設けたバンパバー1と車体前
端のフロントクロスメンバ3との間に比較的大き
な間隙8があるため、空気取入口6から取り入れ
た空気のかなりの部分がこの間隙8から下方に逃
げてしまい、ラジエータ4に有効に作用しないと
いう問題があつた。また、空気取入口6下部1a
の剛性が不足し、上述のように、この部分に補強
部材7を必要とするので、バンパ全体の軽量化を
阻害する要因となつていた(実開昭51−153941号

た細長いフランジを後方に延長し、これをラジエ
ータ直下部のフロントクロスメンバに固定するこ
とによつて、空気取入口下部の剛性を向上せしめ
るとともに、取入れた空気がラジエータの下側へ
洩れないようにして、ラジエータに対する空気の
取入れを有効に行うようにした樹脂バンパを提供

クロスメンバ3に、ボルト14あるいはクリツプ
等を用いて固定してある。そしてバツクアツプビ
ーム15は空気取入口12の上部にのみ配設され

ラジエータ4の下方に逃がすことなくラジエータ
4に有効に供給でき、走行風によるラジエータ4

合に問題となる路面突起や縁石との干渉による変
形の惧れも無く、樹脂材料の利点を十分に活かす
ことができる。尚、図中25はバツクアツプビー
ム、26はこのビーム25とバンパバー21との
間に充填された発泡ウレタン等の衝撃吸収用の樹
