Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the slidability and durability by forming a glass run mounted onto the window frame of an automobile with vinyl chloride including a lubricant, wherein at least the center portion of the bottom portion thereof is formed with the vinyl chloride which is harder than that in the other portions. CONSTITUTION:A glass run comprises a bottom portion 1, side surface portion 2 and lip portion 3. In this case, the glass run is made of vinyl chloride including a lubricant such as silicone oil or the like and the center portion of the bottom portion 1 in contact with the end surface of a window glass is formed to be a hard portion 11 having a hardness of 85 deg. or more and the hardness of the other portions are set to be 60-80 deg.. Therefore, the stick-slip is prevented in the movement of the window glass so as to ensure the enough slidability while the durability of the glass run is improved.

Generally, the glass run is held along the window frame (the path shown in the figure) as shown in FIG. It consists of side parts 2 that extend parallel to each other, and lip parts 3 that extend inward from the tips of both side parts and come into contact with the same surface of the peripheral edge of the window glass 4.

By the way, the tip of the lip part 5 of the glass run and the inner surface of the base part 1 are required to be slippery because they come into sliding contact with the window glass 4 when the glass is raised and lowered. They were applying paint. In addition, measures have been taken to mix lubricants such as silicone oil, fluororesin, and polydimethylsiloxane into vinyl chloride (Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 4-435840).

However, stick-slip occurs at the sliding contact parts with the glass, especially the base part 1, when the glass is raised and lowered, and the corners of the glass get wedged, resulting in locally large sliding resistance. Therefore, the wear resistance of the glass run is insufficient. It wasn't.

[Problems to be Solved by the Present Invention] Therefore, the present invention aims to solve the conventional problems by providing a glass run that is free from stick-slip, has good sliding properties, and has excellent durability. This is the purpose.

In order to solve the above conventional problems, the inventors focused on the hardness of the glass run. That is, since the lip portion 3 of the glass run is required to have flexibility, conventionally the entire glass run has been given a hardness (J-5A) of about 60 to 80 degrees.

However, with such hardness, stick-slip occurs when the glass gets wedged in the base due to rattling when the window glass is raised or lowered or changes in the glass inclination angle. Therefore, even if hair is flocked or a lubricant is added to the base material, sufficient lubricity and durability cannot be obtained.

In the present invention, the glass run is constructed of vinyl chloride containing a lubricant, and as shown in the figure, the base portion 1 is constructed of vinyl chloride, which is harder than other parts. In addition, as shown in Fig. 1112, the base part 1 is made of vinyl chloride v which does not contain a lubricant and has a higher hardness than other parts, and the inner surface of this hard part is coated with a vinyl chloride coating layer 12 containing a lubricant. Form. The hardness of the hard part should be about 95 degrees or more than J Engineering SA. The glass run of the present invention is obtained by integrally extruding vinyl chloride having different hardness.

By increasing the hardness of the base, stick-slip is prevented, sufficient lubricity is obtained, and the durability of the glass run is also improved. Further, the glass run of the present invention is obtained by integral extrusion molding, and there is no need for flocking or painting.

In the glass run shown in FIG. 2, the hard part 11 has a hardness of 1c8F) or more as in the above embodiment, but does not contain a lubricant. The side surface portion 2 and the lip 163K contain a lubricant. On the inner surface of the hard part 11, a coating 12 of vinyl chloride containing a lubricant of the same kind as the side part 2 and the lip part 3 is formed. This glass run is obtained by integrally extruding two types of vinyl chloride.

According to the present invention, since the base portion 11 is made hard, the window can be easily formed either when the base portion 11 itself forms a slippery surface (FIG. 1) or when a slippery coating 12 is formed (FIG. 2). Even if the strength of the contact with the base part 11 changes when the glass is raised or lowered, it slides smoothly without getting wedged, no slips occur, and the glass run has excellent durability. On the other hand, the lip portion 3 maintains the necessary flexibility.
