Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate engagement and disengagement of a tie-down hook with and from a hook hole, by a method wherein the upper flange of a bracket for tightening is secured to the bottom of a side member, and the hook hole for the tie-down hook is formed in the bottom wall of the bracket. CONSTITUTION:A bracket 4A for tightening formed in a cup-shape is provided at its upper part with an upper flange 4b bent about at right angles. The upper flange 4b is inserted through a bottom opening 3, formed in a bottom wall 1b of a rear side member 1, into the internal space of the rear side member 1 and is spot-welded to the upper surface of the bottom 1b. Thus, a bottom wall 4c of the bracket 4A is positioned in a level enoughly lower than that of the bottom wall 1b of the rear side member 1. A book hole 6, adapted to be engaged with a tie-down hook 5, is formed in the central part of the bottom wall 4c. 面開口3には円板状の緊締用ブラケット4が固定しであ
る。この緊締用ブラケット4は仮想線で示すタイダウン
フック5を引掛けることができる引掛孔6を表面中央に
形成するもので、その外周部には補強用リブ4aを折曲
げ成形しである。したがって、このような緊締用ブラケ
ット4の取伺構造では、自動車の輸送時に、タイダウン
フック5が引掛孔6に図示のような状態に保合されるけ
れども、緊締用ブラケット4の引掛孔6がリヤサイドメ
ンバlの底壁1bと略同じ高さにあるので、引掛孔6に
タイタウンフック5を挿入するのに車体下部に深く手を
入れる必要があり、タイダウンフック5の着脱がやっか
いである。また、同緊締用ブラケット4の近くには、仮
想線で略示した懸架装置のブラケットA等があるため、
この懸架装置用ブラケットA等にタイダウンフック5が
干渉すると効果的な位置に緊締部を設けることができな
