BACKGROUND ART Conventionally, the above-mentioned gluing apparatus for cardboard, etc., has been widely known. Typical gluing methods used in these conventional devices include, for example, those in which glue is applied to a flat gluing roller surface, or the gluing roller surface is provided with an uneven surface similar to the outer circumferential surface of a gear. In the former example, the glue is applied to a flat roller surface. Because of this, the glue does not adhere evenly on the roller surface, and the glue that adheres quickly flows away, which tends to cause uneven gluing and dripping. There are disadvantages in that the glue tends to scatter and the glue is applied everywhere other than the glued part, and in the latter case, the glued roller surface is on an uneven surface such as the outer peripheral side of a gear. Since the glue is supplied relatively evenly, the entire roller surface is uneven, and the gear-shaped top surface is at the same height as the outer peripheral surface of the roller, so the glue is supplied relatively evenly. The glue tends to overflow to the left and right sides of the roller, and therefore the glue tends to flow to areas other than the glued part of the cardboard and is easily applied over a wide area. Because it is serrated, the doctor blade that comes into sliding contact with the roller surface in order to supply glue to the roller surface and evenly adhere the glue to the roller surface (that is, to cut the glue) is subject to significant wear, especially at high speeds. This becomes noticeable during operation, making it difficult to apply the glue uniformly to the roller surface, which tends to cause so-called glue sagging.Furthermore, the holding power of the filled glue is relatively weak, so it becomes difficult to apply the glue evenly to the roller surface. There are drawbacks such as the filled glue scattering due to inertia and being scattered around before being applied to the cardboard.

The present invention was made in view of the above points, and the outer diameter of the gluing portion of the outer peripheral surface of the gluing roller is made slightly smaller than the maximum outer diameter of the gluing roller to form a grooved gluing surface. A plurality of spherical depressions are carved on this surface so that glue can be filled into the depressions, and a doctor blade for uniformly supplying glue to the gluing roller is constantly pressed and slid into contact with it. This prevents adhesive unevenness, adhesive dripping, and adhesive scattering, and also prevents wear of the doctor blade.

An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. Reference numeral 1 denotes a gluing roller that rotates in the direction of arrow a, and numeral 2 denotes a presser roller provided close to the gluing roller 1 that rotates in the direction of arrow b. year,
It is assumed that the presser roller 2 is made of a suitable elastic material such as rubber. 3 indicates a corrugated board that is being squeezed between the gluing roller 1 and the presser roller 2 and is about to pass through.

Reference numeral 4 denotes a doctor blade, which is installed so that its end surface 5 is in sliding contact with the outer periphery of the gluing roller 1, and 6 is a glue pipe that supplies glue to the doctor blade 4, which is connected to a glue tank (not shown). 7 is a support plate that supports the doctor blade 4, one end 8 of which is fixed to a base 9 so as to be able to rotate up and down; 10 is a spring that is attached between the support plate 7 and the base 9 (not shown); It is assumed that the doctor blade 4 is always urged to press the outer periphery of the gluing roller 1 in the direction of arrow C. Further, the pressing force of the doctor blade 4 is determined by the adjusting screw 11 of the spring 10.
This allows for appropriate adjustment.

As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the doctor blade 4 is provided with a glue supply chamber 15 connected to the glue pipe 6, and the open surface of the glue supply chamber 15 faces the gluing surface 13 of the glue roller 1. are doing. Also, a glue cut surface 16 is formed at a position continuous with the left end of the glue supply chamber 15, and the glue cut surface 16 faces the glue application surface 13 of the glue roller 1, but as described above, there is a slight gap therebetween. Therefore, only both ends of the gluing roller 1 are in contact with each other without contacting each other.

Next, to explain the operation, the glue (indicated by P in the figure) supplied from the glue pipe 6 enters the glue supply chamber 15 of the doctor blade 4, and the glue application surface of the glue roller 1 rotating in the direction of arrow a. 13 and filled in the spherical depression 14. Next, the glued surface 13 to which the glue P has adhered is the glued surface 16 of the doctor blade 4.
When passing through, excess glue is trimmed off, and the glue P is filled to the inner length of the substantially spherical depression 14. When it reaches the top surface of the cardboard 3, which is being narrowed and slightly compressed between the glue roller 1 and the presser roller 2, the glue P in the spherical depression 14 adheres to the top surface of the cardboard 3, and at the same time, the glue P Gluing is performed over the entire width of the gluing surface 13.

(1) Since the glue P is filled in the spherical recess 14, when the glue P adheres to the cardboard 3, the glue P spreads appropriately in a circular shape and does not flow out to areas other than the glued area, thus preventing uneven gluing. It can be glued beautifully without any problems.

(2) Since the glue P filled in the spherical depression 14 is firmly held by its own surface tension, it does not scatter before reaching the surface of the cardboard 3, which is particularly effective during high-speed operation. demonstrate.

(3) Since the glue application surface 13 is set approximately 0.1 mm lower than the outer circumference of the glue roller, and the recess filled with glue is made spherical, there is no wear on the glue cutting surface 16 of the doctor blade 4, and therefore no glue sag. This saves glue and prevents glue from adhering to other parts.

(4) Since the doctor blade 4 is elastically brought into sliding contact with the glue roller 1 by the spring 10, the filling of the glue is always uniform, and therefore, high quality gluing can be achieved. In addition, since the elasticity of the spring 10 can be adjusted, the doctor blade 4, which comes into sliding contact with the outer periphery of the glue roller 1, may be slightly worn, for example, and the doctor blade 4 can be adjusted even when the sliding surface of the doctor blade 4 is slightly worn out. The blade 4 flies up and can appropriately prevent the glue from scattering.

(5) Since the outer circumferential surface of the glue roller 1 has a glued surface 13 that is slightly lower than the doctor blade 4, the glue can be applied to the glued surface 13 that includes the spherical depressions 14.
The doctor blade 4 is not allowed to fill completely, but only the narrow portions at both edges are in contact with the doctor blade 4, so that the doctor blade 4 and the glue roller 1 are completely in contact with each other, and the glue roller 1 is completely filled with the glue roller 1. Even if both ends of the outer diameter surface wear out over time, the adhesive remains in close contact and no glue leaks.
It has an effect that cannot be found in any other conventional products.
