The present invention relates to an insulating oil for oil-filled transformers using kraft paper, and its object is to obtain an inexpensive flame-retardant insulating oil. Recently, there has been a demand for making electrical equipment such as oil-immersed transformers and capacitors more flame retardant and smaller, and silicone oil has come to be used in place of the conventionally used PCB. A mixture of aryl phosphate and mineral oil-based insulating oil is already known as a flame-retardant insulating oil that is cheaper than silicone oil. However, aryl phosphates generally have low solubility in mineral oil-based insulating oils, and have the drawback that it is difficult to obtain flame-retardant insulating oils. The present inventors have found that when trimethylolpropane-based or pentaerythritol-based polyol esters, benzenetricarboxylic acid trialkyl esters, acetyl trialkyl citrates, trialkyl citrates, etc. are mixed with mineral oil to aryl phosphate oil, mineral oil The inventors completed the present invention by discovering that aryl phosphate has a high solubility, and can be used as an inexpensive and flame-retardant insulating oil. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a novel flame-retardant insulating oil.
To provide an insulating oil for oil-immersed transformers using kraft paper, which is blended with mineral oil to aryl phosphate oil, polyol ester, benzenetricarboxylic acid trialkyl ester, acetyl trialkyl citrate, trialkyl citrate, etc. . To summarize the present invention, the present invention further provides a polyol ester, a benzenetricarboxylic acid trialkyl ester, an acetyl citrate triester, an insulating oil containing mineral oil and a phosphoric acid triester containing at least one aromatic ring. This invention relates to an insulating oil characterized by containing alkyl, trialkyl citrate, etc. In the present invention, increasing the mixing ratio of ester oil means increasing the solubility of phosphate ester in mineral oil, that is, increasing flame retardancy.
If the amount is too small, it will be difficult to dissolve the phosphate ester, making it impossible to achieve flame retardancy. From the above point of view, mineral oil is 12 to 21% by weight, preferably 14 to 20% by weight, and phosphoric ester is
Suitable amounts are 28-60% by weight, preferably 32-60% by weight, and 28-60% by weight, preferably 28-55% by weight for ester oils. The phosphoric acid triester containing at least one aromatic ring that is blended into mineral oil refers to the one in which at least one of the three ester components in the orthophosphoric acid triester contains an aromatic ring. Good, examples are tricresyl phosphate, cresyl diphenyl phosphate, octyl diphenyl phosphate, trixylenyl phosphate, diphenyl orthoxylenyl phosphate, tri(ethyl phenyl) phosphate, tri(isopropylphenyl) phosphate. enyl), phenyl di(isopropylphenyl) phosphate, tri(n
-propylphenyl), tri(butylphenyl) phosphate, tri(pentylphenyl) phosphate, tri(hexylphenyl) phosphate, tri(heptylphenyl) phosphate, tri(octylphenyl) phosphate,
Examples include tri(nonylphenyl) phosphate and tri(decylphenyl) phosphate. These esters may be blended alone, or a mixture of two or more thereof may be blended. The saturated fatty acid-based polyol ester of trimethylolpropane used in the present invention is composed of trimethylolpropane and a saturated polyol ester represented by the following general formula: CH 3 (CH 2 ) nCOOH (wherein n is an integer of 3 to 11). It consists of esters with fatty acids. The saturated fatty acids of the above formula contain 5 to 13 carbon atoms (i.e. n = 3 to 11); with fewer carbons, the flash point is too low, while with more than the upper limit, the flash point is too low. It ceases to be a liquid due to temperature. Therefore, the saturated fatty acids each preferably contain 5 to 13 carbon atoms. Furthermore, when a mixture of two or more saturated fatty acids containing 5 to 13 carbon atoms is used, a relatively low pour point can be obtained. Examples of saturated fatty acids include valeric acid, caproic acid, enanthic acid, caprylic acid, isooctanoic acid, pelargonic acid, decanoic acid, and lauric acid, as well as mixed fatty acids of two or more of these fatty acids. In addition, the saturated fatty acid polyol ester of pentaerythritol used in the present invention is composed of pentaerythritol and a saturated fatty acid polyol ester represented by the following general formula: CH 3 (CH 2 ) nCOOH (wherein n is an integer from 3 to 11). It consists of esters with fatty acids. The saturated fatty acids of the above formula contain 5 to 13 carbon atoms (i.e. n=3 to 11),
At carbon numbers lower than this, the flash point is too low, while at carbon numbers above the upper limit, it is no longer a liquid at low temperatures. In addition, typical benzenetricarboxylic acid trialkyl esters have the following general formula: (In the formula, n represents a number from 4 to 10.) The alcohol component in the ester of the above formula contains between 6 and 12 carbon atoms; below this number, the flash point is too low, while above the upper limit, the alcohol component cannot be liquid at low temperatures. It disappears. Therefore, in the alcohol component,
Preferably each contains 6 to 12 carbon atoms. In addition, typical trialkyl acetyl citrates have the following general formula: (In the formula, n represents a number from 2 to 8.) In addition, typical trialkyl citrates have the following general formula: (In the formula, n represents a number from 2 to 8.) EXAMPLES Hereinafter, the effects of the present invention will be explained in detail with reference to Examples, but the present invention is not limited to these in any way. The flammability of the blended oils in Examples and Comparative Examples was measured as follows. A glass tape with a width of 25 mm, a length of 500 mm, and a thickness of 0.25 mm is immersed in 50 ml of sample oil for 3 minutes, then removed from the oil, left horizontally for 2 minutes, and then ignited with the flame of a gas burner at one end of the glass tape. do. Flammability is evaluated by the burning speed (seconds/cm) after ignition.
If the flame goes out even if ignited, it is considered to have no flammability. Example 1 Trixylenyl phosphate was added to a blended oil with a flash point of 248°C and a viscosity of 160cst (30°C) of mineral oil and trimethylolpropane-saturated fatty acid ester in a ratio of 30 to 70, based on the total composition. The flammability of the resulting blended oil and the solubility of the phosphoric triester were examined. In addition, trimethylolpropane-
C5 to C11 mixed fatty acid ester was blended in an amount of 10 to 80% by weight based on both compositions, and the flammability of the obtained insulating oil and the solubility of the phosphoric triester were measured. The results obtained are shown in Tables 1 and 2.
