Description

本発明は自動車の車体における合掌するフラン
ジ部等の前後方向に長手にのびるワークに適宜間
隔にスポツト溶接を施すに使用される溶接ガン装

本発明はかゝる不都合のない装置を得ることを
その目的としたもので、前後方向に長手にのびる

供給によれば伸縮する前後の両半部から成るガン
本体を設けると共に該両半部の一方と他方とに互
に開閉自在の左右1対のクランプアームと、左右
1対の溶接ガンアームとを備え、該クランプアー
ムと該溶接ガンアームとを交互に閉じると共に該
ガン本体を伸縮させることを繰返すことにより該
ガン本体に該ワークに沿つた間歇送りが与えられ

の側方位置に設ける。図示のものでは自動車の車
体における下側の合掌フランジ部をワークaと
し、その下側にこれに略沿せて設けるようにし
た。更に該両半部2,3にはその一方に該ワーク
aを挾持する左右1対のクランプアーム6,6
と、その他に該ワークaを挾持すると共にこれに
スポツト溶接を施す左右1対の溶接ガンアーム
7,7とを設けるもので、図示のものでは前側の
半部2の前端部に該クランプアーム6,6を作動
シリンダ6aにより開閉自在に設けると共に後側
の半部3の後端部に該ガンアーム7,7を作動シ
リンダ7aにより開閉自在に設けるようにした。
図面で8は両半部2,3を互に前後動自在に導く
その下側のガイドバー、9はその上側のガイドロ
ーラを示し、該ガイドローラ9は後述する作動に
際し該ワークaの下面に当接されてこれに沿つ転

てワークaをクランプした状態から、ガン本体1
に伸長を与えて第7図示の状態とし、この状態で
前方のクランプアーム6,6を閉じると共に後方
のガンアーム7,7に通電を与えて該ワークaに
スポツト溶接を生じさせ、次で該ガンアーム7,
7を開くと共に該ガン本体1を収縮させて第8図
示の状態とし、再びその位置で後方のガンアーム
7,7を閉じてワークをクランプする。かくてこ
れが交互に繰返されることによりガン本体1は前
方に間歇送りされると共に各位置でワークaはガ
ンアーム7,7によるスポツト溶接を与えられ
