Abstract

PURPOSE:To accurately arrange a preheating burner right under a weld zone at all times by integrating the preheating burner with a supporting column and making these movable to the optional position on a fixed surface plate. CONSTITUTION:In a preheating surface plate 2, the supporting column 8 is fitted integrally to a travel rail 12 on which the preheating burner 16 travels to constitute a preheating mechanism 6. This preheating mechanism 6 is mounted on the fixed surface plate 10 so that it can be arranged at the optional position. Moreover, since panel material 4 which is the material to be welded is supported by the preheating mechanism 6, the preheating is certainly performed even in case reinforcing material 30 is welded at any position on the panel material 4.

合等に用いられるものである。その構成は、固定定盤5
2上に支持柱54を等間隔に設置し、この支持柱54の
上端に被溶接部材であるパネル材56を載せ、更にこの
パネル材56上にこのパネル材56に溶接する補強材5
8を予め決められた位置に配置するとともに予熱バーナ
60を前記補強材58の直下に位置するよう設置させて
行なうようになっている。そして補強材58とパネル材
56とを溶接させる溶接v162をパネル材56上にて
補強材5日に沿って (すなわち図面に対して垂直方向
)移動させ、それと同期させて予熱バーナ60を前記溶
接機62に先行するように走行させ、溶接に先立ち溶接
部が適度に加熱されるようにしている。

して設けられ、支持柱8に何も載せられていないときに
は前記バネ18により突出して予熱機構6を走行自在に
支持している。
