させて覆う円筒カツプ状のバルブリフタがカムシ
ヤフトのカムと吸排気バルブの間に配置され、バ
ルブクリアランス調整用の円板状のアジヤステイ
グシムを嵌装する凹部と、該凹部の外周面近傍で
内部に貫通する油孔とが、前記バルブリフタに設
けられた内燃機関のバルブ潤滑装置において、前
記油孔近傍を裾とし、前記バルブステムの先端部
が当接する部分を頂点としたテーパ部を、前記バ
ルブリフタの内部に形成したことを特徴とする内
