Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable chip inserting and fitting holes to be molded without closing the fitting holes, while only removing a seal material by a method in which the sealing material is caused to be in contact with a clip fitting piece so as to close the fitting holes, and clay is stuck and kept onto the fitting piece, and then urethane is insert-molded onto the core member and the sealing material is pulled out from the fitting holes after mold release. CONSTITUTION:Four inclined surfaces a, b, c, d and the holes 12', 12 for fitting clips are formed by the drawing of iron sheet. A clip fitting piece 1 is made while forming inwardly bending pieces 11, 11 at both distal ends of the inclined surfaces a, b, and then similarly clip fitting pieces 1' and 1'' are made. The rubber tape with the length capable of covering simultaneously both holes 12', 12, as a sealing material, is caused to be in contact with the fitting piece from the inside thereof, whereby both holes are closed. Further, the block of soft clay 7 is kept by an adhesive tape 6, while covering the rubber tape from its inside. The chip fitting piece is set in a mold, and after mold clamping, hard urethane is poured into a cavity C and is molded, and then the molded product is taken out after cooling.

In the conventional product described above, the iron plate to be inserted is the core plate of the entire pillar garnish, that is, the core plate is approximately the same as the product shape, and is large, and the product itself has a large amount of X, resulting in high cost. In addition, during manufacturing, the clip attachment part 101,
Semi-rigid urethane may enter the openings 112, 112' of 101' and 101' from the upper mold side in FIG. There is also opening 112 #11
2' would be blocked, so it was necessary to perform a time-consuming hole drilling operation after demolding so that the clips 110 and 110' could be made by oneself.

[Means and actions for solving problems] No. 18. IC
As shown in the figure, a sealing material 5 is brought into contact with a clip mounting piece 1 with a clip mounting hole 12° 12' formed and both ends bent inward, so as to close the clip mounting hole, and then As shown in Fig. 1D, clay 7 is adhered and held on the clip attachment piece so as to maintain the sealing material 5 and secure an area into which the clip can be inserted, and then set it in the mold so that the clip attachment hole is exposed and both The conventional drawbacks are solved by a manufacturing method in which insert molding is performed at a proper position of a core material 4 in a state where the bent part of the terminal or clay is buried, and the sealing material 5 is extracted from the mounting hole 12 after demolding.

According to this manufacturing method, the outer surface of the mounting hole is in contact with the mold surface, and the inner surface is covered with sealant and clay, so the mounting hole is not blocked by the injected resin material during insert molding. A clip insertion hole can be formed by simply pulling out and removing the sealing material from the mounting hole after demolding.
