Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a non-aqueous cosmetic having excellent affinity and adhesivity to skin and improved moisture-retainability, giving durable make-up and effective in preventing chapped skin, by coating an inorganic pigment with a complex composed of a specific water-soluble collagen and a specific anionic polymer and using the coated pigment as a cosmetic component. CONSTITUTION:The surface of an inorganic pigment is coated with (A) a water- soluble collagen having an average molecular weight of 100,000-700,000 or its derivative, e.g. methyl- or ethyl-esterified collagen and (B) an anionic polymer selected from hyaluronic acid, chondroitinsulfuric acid, alginic acid, pectinic acid and carrageenan. The obtained coated pigment having excellent affinity and adhesivity to skin and high water-retainability (moisture-retainability) is added to a non-aqueous cosmetic to obtain the objective cosmetic having various excellent effects such as excellent affinity and adhesivity to skin, durable make-up, maintenance of moist and charming skin, prevention of skin roughening, etc.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION (Field of Industrial Application) The present invention provides a coating 82 in which the surface of an inorganic pigment is coated with a composite consisting of water-soluble collagen or a derivative thereof and a specific anionic polymer described below. This invention relates to a non-aqueous cosmetic containing a scalp ingredient. More specifically, non-aqueous makeup that has good blending and adhesion to the skin, does not easily remove makeup, maintains moisturized skin, and can provide excellent effects such as preventing skin roughness. A wide variety of inorganic pigments are used, such as kaolin, mica, sericite, titanium mica, and titanium oxide, but the polarity of the pigment's surface is far from that of the skin, and the pigment itself does not have the ability to retain moisture. Therefore, cosmetics containing such inorganic pigments (e.g. powder foundation, pressed powder, cheek bene).

Powder eye shadow, face powder, baby powder, etc.) had the disadvantage of poor blending and adhesion to the skin. In addition, the cosmetic has the disadvantage that the skin becomes dry and powder is lifted during the dry seasons of autumn and winter because the cosmetic coating film has no moisture retention ability.

Furthermore, in order to improve the adhesion of inorganic pigments to the skin, it has been conventional practice to incorporate coated pigments in which the surface of inorganic pigments is coated with metallic soap.

However, metallic soap-coated pigments have extremely low oil absorption due to the surface hydrophilicity-lipophilic balance being too biased toward lipophilicity. etc.), the amount of oil-based binder that can be blended is significantly reduced, making it difficult to improve the soft feel and causing problems such as shine (uneven gloss) on the cake surface. In addition, water-based powder foundation powders (incorporating metallic soap-coated pigments improve water contact, but reduce moisture retention and fail to provide a moist, pleasant feel).

Water-soluble collagen is extracted from the animal's skin with a slightly acidic or slightly alkaline aqueous solution, or a neutral salt aqueous solution, or the animal's skin is treated with pepsin under acidic conditions to cleave the molecular bridge. Examples of the water-soluble collagen derivatives obtained by subsequently extracting with an acid aqueous solution include methyl-esterified collagen obtained by methyl-esterifying the carboxyl group of water-soluble collagen, and methyl-esterified collagen obtained by ethyl-esterifying the carboxyl group of water-soluble collagen.
