Conventionally, when taking radiographic images using such an X-ray film, the X-ray film is loaded into a radiation imaging device in a light-shielded state, and the emulsion surface of this film is directly irradiated with X-rays. The image of the subject is recorded.

Here, a storage phosphor is a material that, when irradiated with radiation (X-rays, α-rays, β-rays, γ-rays, electron beams, ultraviolet rays, etc.), stores some of this radiation energy and later emits visible light, etc. A phosphor that generates stimulated luminescence according to the accumulated energy when irradiated with excitation light.

Recording is performed on a sheet having a layer made of a stimulable phosphor, and the stimulable phosphor sheet is scanned with excitation light such as a laser beam to generate stimulated luminescence light. The image signal is read out to obtain an image signal, and based on this image signal, it is output as a visible image to a recording material such as a photographic light-sensitive material, a CRT, or the like.

This device stores X-ray film, which is a recording material, through a magazine, etc., takes out the film one by one using a sheet-fed mechanism such as a suction cup, and then converts it into electrical signals obtained from a stimulable phosphor sheet. The device is configured to irradiate the film with a laser beam based on the image and record a predetermined image. Therefore, the film on which the new image has been recorded is conveyed into an automatic developing device, undergoes a developing process, and then is stored at a predetermined location and used for medical diagnosis, etc., if necessary.

Therefore, the film loading operation is generally performed in a darkroom, but the efficiency of the loading operation is naturally low. Then, in order to improve the workability, loading the film in a normal bright room became strongly desired.
A technical idea for making this possible is disclosed in, for example, Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 56-7931.

Since this dedicated magazine is repeatedly attached to and removed from the image recording apparatus, it needs to be manufactured strongly so that it can withstand long-term use, and as a result, the dedicated magazine itself has a considerable weight. Therefore, a drawback arises in that it is troublesome for the operator to attach and detach the dedicated magazine. Moreover, since the dedicated magazine is provided with a shutter mechanism, clamping rollers, etc., this dedicated magazine inevitably becomes expensive.

It is necessary to attach the shutter member to the device and pull out the shutter member. As a result, the disadvantage is that the loading operation of such a film is complicated and takes a considerable amount of time.

Here, the end portion 44a of the cover member 44 that closes the film removal opening 42 of the light-shielding container 40 is taken out to the outside of the lid body portion 36 via the engaging portion 50 of the light-shielding container 40.

The film is led out to the outside of the film loading device from between. That is, the interior of the film loading device 30 is shielded from light by the lid 36, and each time the cover member 44 is held between the engaging portion 50 and the roller 58, the light shielding state is further increased and the light density is increased.

The film is peeled off from the film removal opening 42 of the light-shielding container 40 while being held between the film 0 and the roller 58 . In this case, since the protrusion 48 formed at the end of the light-shielding container 40 is engaged with the engagement member 56 of the lid body 36, the corresponding end of the light-shielding container 40 is removed during the peeling operation of the cover member 44. Therefore, the cover member 44
Peeling work is performed well.

When the shutter member 60 is pulled out in the direction of the arrow after peeling from the film 0, the shutter 62 is displaced, and as a result, the film ejection opening 42 of the film package 38 is directed toward the film transport port 64 of the film loading device 30. It will be opened to the public. Next, the suction cup 66 is driven to close the light-shielding container 4.
After the films F stored in the film F are sequentially fed to a transport mechanism (not shown), an image is recorded on the film F in an image recording section.

Therefore, for example, a rod-shaped member 45 is brought into contact with the intermediate portion of the cover member 44 as shown by the broken line in FIG. By configuring the system in such a way that it is possible to prevent unnecessary work as described above.

Therefore, when the cover member is peeled off from the film package, the film is not irradiated with external light, and the film can be loaded in a bright room. Furthermore, since it is not necessary to load the film package while it is housed in a dedicated magazine, there are advantages in that handling is simple and manufacturing costs can be significantly reduced.
