の先端に取り付けられた検出子とを三次元方向に
相対移動させ、両者を関与させたときの相対移動
変位量から前記測定対象物の形状、寸法等を測定
するモータ駆動型三次元測定機において、前記ス
ピンドルの先端側に、異物が一定距離まで接近し
たときその接近を検知するセンサを該スピンドル
の水平方向に交叉する外周面および/または下面
に設けて異物の水平方向および/または下方から
の接近を検知可能とし、このセンサによる異物接
近検知の出力信号で前記測定対象物と検出子との
相対移動を強制的に停止させるための緊急停止装
置を含んで構成された安全装置を備えるモータ駆
動型三次元測定機。 (2) 実用新案登録請求の範囲第1項において、
前記センサは、発光および受光用光フアイバが一
組として近接配置された光フアイバセンサから構
成され、この光フアイバセンサは前記スピンドル
