Abstract

PURPOSE:To sufficiently reduce an upward tensile force applied to a lip portion of a seal member as accompanied by the vibration of a vehicle body or the like, by providing a rib of the seal member at a side portion of the vehicle body which rib contacts a side end surface of a corner portion of a side sill. CONSTITUTION:A seal member 5 is formed with a holding portion 11 and an anchor portion 12 depending in parallel from a lower portion of a base portion 10. An upper end portion of a straightening member 4 is held between the holding portion 11 and the anchor portion 12, and is fixed by adhesive. The base portion 10 is integrally formed at its upper portion with a longitudinally extending lip portion 14 contacting an upper end surface 13a of a corner portion 13 of an outer panel 8, and is also integrally formed at its side portion on a vehicle body side with a longitudinally extending rib 21 contacting a side end surface 13b of the corner portion 13 of the outer panel 8. Accordingly, even when an upward tensile force due to the vibration of the vehicle body or the like is applied to the lip portion 14, a downward large tensile force is given by the rib 21.

いる。また、基部10の上部には、上記アウタパネル8
のコーナ部13の上端面131Lに当災するリップ[1
4が一体形成されており、このリップ部14によってア
ウタパネル8に対する本体3上端邪の百陸干渉を防止す
るようになっている。
