When the disk (hereinafter abbreviated as the disk) stops rotating, the magnetic head (hereinafter abbreviated as the head) is in contact with the disk. However, with the recent remarkable increase in magnetic recording density, it has become necessary for heads and disks to have a flat surface or very high flatness, so that the head and disk come into contact with each other. Due to this, an adsorption phenomenon may occur between the disk and the disk, and the sliding friction between the disk and the disk may become large. Excessive stress is applied to the head or disk, sometimes resulting in damage to the head or disk.

点がある。Conventionally, in this type of magnetic disk drive, before the disk is rotated, the front end slides a very small amount in the seek direction on the disk surface, thereby eliminating the sliding friction between the front end and the disk and creating an adsorption phenomenon. [Problem to be solved by the invention] In the above-mentioned conventional magnetic disk drive, when the disk is stopped, the head is damaged, albeit by a very small amount. Normal CS S
Since it will be slid in a different seek direction than the time,
...An excessive stress different from normal will be applied to the throat. In conventional devices, this operation is performed every time the disk is rotated, which may reduce the reliability of the head and disk, and because the amount of sliding is limited, the original effect may be reduced. There is a drawback that it becomes a problem.

In the same figure, a spindle motor 1 is used to rotate a disk plate 2, and a motor and motor 4 are used to drive a servo circuit 5. Positioning the head 3 in the radial direction of the disc plate 2 by control 4
Timer 8 is a charging/discharging circuit using a capacitor, and is always charged at a certain voltage when spindle motor 1 is rotating, and when spindle motor 1 is stopped or power is not supplied to the device. When the control circuit 7 receives the start signal of the spindle motor 1, it looks at the output of the timer 8, and if the output is greater than or equal to the value, it causes the motor drive circuit 6 to rotate the spindle motor 1.
If it is less than the value, the servo circuit 5 carries out the carry.
・Move the throat 3 by driving the I-shape 4, and if it is less than the value, increase the sliding distance, and after this operation is completed, the motor drive circuit 6 drives the spindle motor 1.

However,... the adsorption force between the throat and the disc... The disc was stopped by taking advantage of the time the throat and the disc are in contact, which is related to the time the disc is stopped. By performing the sliding movement of the gutter appropriately depending on the time, there is no effect on the gutter or the disk, and there is the effect of preventing adsorption accidents.
