[Detailed description of the invention] In the tile manufacturing process, when a pair of tiles of the same shape are stacked back-to-back and sent out, the tiles are stacked one after the other in an orderly manner with each side facing up. This relates to a tile transfer device that rearranges tiles in a row and transfers them to another conveyor.

Tiles are manufactured in the form of a pair of upper and lower tiles with their back sides connected to each other as shown in Fig. 1.In the final process, the upper and lower tiles are separated on a conveyor using, for example, a tile dividing device as disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 58-8515. is divided and formed. Then, each divided tile is inspected for surface scratches, cracks, deformation, etc.
It is necessary to rearrange the tiles that are stacked one above the other while remaining divided, with each side facing up.

Specifically, the transfer conveyor 1 is a conveyor that carries tiles 5 that have been vertically divided by a dividing device 6 and conveys them in the longitudinal direction. Further, the clamping conveyor 2 is provided parallel to the transfer conveyor 1, and is separated from the tiles 5 on the transfer conveyor 1 by a pair of left and right endless belts 2A, 2B so as to separate and transfer only the upper tile 5A. The left and right side edges of the upper tile 5A are held between the belts 2A and 2B and transferred in the same direction as the transfer conveyor 1. The clamping conveyor 2 has an air cylinder 8 attached to each belt pulley 10 of the belt 2A on one side, and the upper tile 5A
The belt pulleys 10' and 1 at the end of the belt 2B on the other side are
0'' and 10 are connected to an air cylinder 9 so that they can move forward and backward (in the direction of the arrow in the figure). That is, the upper tile 5 transferred to the end of the clamping conveyor 2
When the tip of A' reaches the end of the clamping conveyor 2, the belt pulley 1 is controlled by the sensing circuit described later.
0', 10'', and 10 move backward to release the upper tile 5' and form an opening mechanism that causes it to fall downward. Furthermore, above the terminal end of the clamping conveyor 2, there is a fourth
As shown in the figure, a reflective phototube 11 is provided to sense the upper tile 5A' and control the backward movement of the belt pulleys 10'-10. Furthermore, the speed of the clamping conveyor 2 is slightly slower than that of the transfer conveyor 1 in order to provide a difference in transfer time between the upper tile 5A and the lower tile 5B.
The relative speed between the lower tiles 5B and upper tiles 5A is determined so that they can be alternately transferred to the upper tiles at equal intervals. Note that 7 in FIG. 2 is a guide plate for the upper tile 5A.

Next, as shown in Fig. 4, the reversing section 3 consists of an inclined plate 12 provided below the terminal end of the transfer conveyor 1, and a rod 13 that supports the inclined plate 12 and moves forward and backward. As shown in FIG. 6, the front lower edge 12' of the inclined plate 12 is stopped at a position slightly protruding from the edge 1' of the transfer conveyor 1 (the right edge near the reversing section 3), and the transfer conveyor 1 is moved as shown in FIG.
The lower tile 5B is caused to interfere with the right half of the lower tile 5B being sent out from the end of the conveyor 4, and the lower tile 5B is reversed by gravity by 180 degrees as shown by the arrow in the figure.
It has been moved above. When it moves backward, it stops at the dotted line position shown in the figure, and the clamping conveyor 2
It is configured so as not to interfere with the upper tile 5A falling from the top tile 5A.

On the other hand, the delivery conveyor 4 is similar to the transfer conveyor 1.
are arranged perpendicularly to the clamping conveyor 2.
The upper tiles 5A that are dropped and transferred from the transfer conveyor 1 via the reversing section 3 and the lower tiles 5B that are dropped and transferred from the transfer conveyor 1 via the reversing section 3 are placed alternately in parallel in a line, and the quality of the tiles is inspected. The width of the conveyor is approximately equal to the length of the tiles to be placed, and the height H from the transfer conveyor 1 is selected in consideration of the above-mentioned reversal effect.

That is, when the tile 5 that is divided into upper and lower parts and transferred on the transfer conveyor 1 reaches the lower part of the clamping conveyor 2, the upper tile 5A is clamped by the clamping conveyor 2 and separated from the lower tile 5B, and the lower tile 5 is separated from the lower tile 5B.
B is transported by the transport conveyor 1 with its back side facing up. The upper tile 5A clamped by the clamping conveyor 2 gradually moves away from the lower tile 5B due to the speed difference configuration described above.
The lower tile 5B, which is faster, reaches the tip of the transfer conveyor 1 first, interferes with the reversing section 3, is forcibly reversed, and is transferred to the delivery conveyor 4 with its surface facing up.
It is dropped and transferred to the top. Next, clamping conveyor 2
The upper tile 5A that has reached the tip of the belt wheel 10'
It is freed by the retreating action of steps 1 to 10, and is dropped onto the delivery conveyor 4 as it is (with the surface facing up). At this time, when the tip of the upper tile 5A reaches the end of the clamping conveyor 2, it is detected by the reflective phototube 11 that the upper tile 5A is connected to the belt pulleys 10'-10.
As shown in FIG. 5, the upper tile 5A instantly moves backward and releases the grip, so that the upper tile 5A falls horizontally without tilting. Since the reversing portion 3 is retracted by the sensing action of the reflective phototube 11, the upper tile 5A
are dropped and transferred onto the delivery conveyor 4 in an orderly manner without being interfered with.

Thus, the top tile 5 is placed on the delivery conveyor 4.
The tiles A and the lower tiles 5B are alternately arranged in parallel in a line and transferred and transported sequentially.

As described above, according to the tile transfer device of the present invention,
Tiles stacked back-to-back in pairs are separated into upper and lower sections and are automatically aligned and sent sequentially to the delivery conveyor with their surfaces facing up.
Quality inspection on the delivery conveyor becomes extremely easy to perform, significantly streamlining the process, and contributing to improved productivity in the tile manufacturing process.
