For example, in a tractor, a pair of king pin support members are fixed to both ends of a cylindrical front axle by welding, but in the past, the front axle usually had the same shape over its entire length in the width direction. For this reason, conventionally, when attempting to securely fix the front axle and the king support member by increasing the length in the vertical direction of the fixed portion of the front axle and the king support member, the front axle is There was a problem in that the length was large and the ground clearance at the center in the width direction was low. Additionally, if the front axle and the king pin support member are to be appropriately welded by making the length of both ends of the front axle in the longitudinal direction small enough to correspond to the king pin support member, the front axle will be welded over the entire length in the width direction. As a result, there was a problem in that the length in the longitudinal direction became smaller and the strength of the front axle was reduced.

The present invention solves all of the above problems, and its feature is that, in the front axle to which a pair of king pin support members are fixed to both ends, the top wall side of the front axle is formed horizontally. At the same time, the bottom wall side is formed into an upwardly curved convex shape, and the length of both ends of the front axle in the vertical direction is larger than that of the center part in the width direction. In addition, the rear wall side is formed in a curved protrusion shape toward the rear, so that the widthwise central portion of the front axle is made longer in the longitudinal direction than both side portions thereof.

As described in detail above, the present invention forms the top wall side of the front axle in a horizontal shape, and the bottom wall side in an upwardly curved convex shape, so that both ends of the front axle are formed in the width direction. Since the length in the vertical direction is larger than the center part, the length in the vertical direction of the fixed part between the front axle and the king pin support member is large, and the king pin support member can be firmly fixed to the front axle, and the front axle Sufficient ground clearance is secured at the center of the width direction. In addition, the front wall side of the front axle is formed into a curved protrusion shape toward the front side, and the rear wall side is formed into a curved protrusion shape toward the rear side, so that the center part of the front axle in the width direction is longer than both ends thereof. Even though the central part of the front axle in the width direction is smaller in length in the vertical direction than the ends on both sides, the strength of the front axle is large, and both ends of the front axle have king pins. Since the longitudinal length of the support member is made smaller in accordance with the size of the support member, the kingpin support member can be suitably fixed to the front axle.
