Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to detect the remainder of steel balls, by forming a narrow groove having a predetermined depth in a detecting bar, corresponding to a passage in a steel holder through which the steel balls pass, and by introducing steel balls into an array of grooves in a retainer under vacuum suction force. CONSTITUTION:Steel balls (c) is introduced by gravitational falling due to the inclination of a passage 2' in a steel ball holder 2 through which steel balls (c) pass, and by vacuum suction effected from below through a hole 16' in a push rod 16 and a hole 20' in an auxiliary push rod 20. Then the push rod 16 is lowered by a cylinder to return a retainer (b) to its original position. At this time steel balls (c) which have missed entering into an array of grooves (b') in the retainer (b), remains in the holder 2. The remaining balls (c) make into contact with a detecting bar 8. Then, the remaining steel balls (c) are sucked into the detecting bar 8 so that the remainder of steel balls may be detected, thereby it is possible to prevent defective articles from being mixed into nondefective articles.

In the case where a steel ball, etc. does not enter the groove row of the conventional beam retainer etc. described above and remains in the steel ball holder, etc., for example, if the steel ball has adhered to the steel ball and the steel ball with the dust is attached to the steel ball. If the ball holder (2) gets stuck in the path (2) for the steel balls to pass, there are imperfections such as errors in the detection of remaining steel balls. This often resulted in defective products being mixed in with good products. In addition, if the machine is stopped or the defective product is discharged every time the product does not fit in the first time, productivity will be poor. Therefore, before stopping the machine or discharging defective products, a steel ball insertion operation is performed to put the remaining steel balls (c) into the grooves (b). There are many requests to achieve a reduction in the rate. In order to meet this demand, it is first necessary to prevent the above-mentioned steel balls from becoming jammed in the middle.

The present invention was made in consideration of the above, and it is difficult to detect a steel ball by using a conventional device to first detect a steel ball by using a detection rod (8) corresponding to the inclined hole in the steel ball holder (2) through which the steel ball passes. (See Fig. 12) improves the reliability of detecting residual steel balls, and in place of the bushing (16) used to raise the retainer etc. to a certain level, the present invention has a bushing (16). (16) has a double structure and uses a compression spring (Fig. 14), and also uses a clutch brake, etc. (not shown) in the drive part of the machine, so that all the steel balls are cleaned in the first time. 1-1-/7'l Theft 1-1 Mb/±, Fue Juju 1h Sufu.

The embodiment of the present invention will be explained with reference to Figs. 6.7, 8, and 9.10. First, the parts (the first part, the outer cylinder ) is inserted into the second part, the retainer (B), and the grooves (B)' of the retainer (B) are positioned in one direction) is transferred to the fixed position. If (7th)
(See figure) Next, the slider (3) descends and stops using a cylinder, cam, etc. (not shown), and then the bush l rod (16) guided by the flange guide (17) and the bush lug (16) ) The bushing auxiliary rod (20) attached to the inner diameter of the tip comes into contact with the retainer (b) and 7) + rear tooling! In order to take out the retainer (B) from the top of the 4b0 (A), that is, to insert the steel balls (C) into the grooves (B)' of the retainer (B). Deflects (see Figure 8).Also, cylinders, etc. (
The bushing rod (6) fixed to the tip of the retainer (23) is raised by the cylinder (23) to the extent necessary to insert the steel balls (c) into the grooves (b)' of the retainer (b). In this way, the steel ball (c) inside the steel ball holder (2) will be detected by the detection rod (8).
The stopped state is released by the steel balls, and the retainer is attached to each steel ball one by one over a period of time.
It goes into the groove (B) row of (B) (see Figure 9). however,
The steel ball (c) falls naturally using the slope of the path (2)' that the steel ball (c) passes through in the steel ball holder (2), and falls from below through the hole (16) in the bushing support rod (20) ( 16)'
(20)' is fixed by a vacuum joint (22) and a slump (3).

Next, the bushing rod (6) is lowered by the cylinder (23) to return the retainer (b) to its original position (see FIG. 10). At this time, the steel balls (c)' that fail to enter the groove (b) row of the retainer (b) remain in the steel ball holder (2). This remaining steel ball (c)' comes into contact with the detection rod (8). In other words, the vacuum is being applied through the holes (16) and (20)' in the bushing rod (16) and bushing auxiliary rod (20), and the vacuum force from below on the detection rod (8) as shown in Fig. The steel ball (c) is the detection rod (
8) and can detect any remaining steel balls (c). Therefore, the lead wire (13) of the live electrode attached to the detection rod (8) and the lead wire (15) of one electrode attached to the slider (3) convert it into an electric signal, and the cylinder (23) ) by lowering the bushing rod (6), the bushing auxiliary rod (20) moves into the bushing (1
6) will deflect the compression spring (21) (see Figure 10). When the signal is given, the cylinder (23) rises again. Following this, only the bushing auxiliary rod (20) rises with the action of the compression spring (21), causing the retainer (B) to rise again, and the steel balls (C) remaining in the steel ball holder to move into the retainer. - Enter the groove (b)′ in (b) (see Figure 9)
It becomes like this. When inserting the steel balls again, use a clutch brake or the like (not shown) to prevent the index table from moving based on the above detection signal.
7 [Effects of the Invention] As described above, the present invention is characterized in that a thin groove of a required depth is bored in the detection rod (8) of the conventional device in correspondence with the path through which the steel balls of the steel ball holder pass. By using the suction force of the vacuum when the steel balls are inserted into the grooves (B)' row of the retainer (B), it is possible to detect if the steel balls remain in the steel ball holder. By reliably detecting, it is possible to reduce the chance of defective products being mixed in with good products compared to conventional methods, which improves the reliability of detection. When all the steel balls have not entered a certain amount in each groove row, the detection signal can be used as in the above embodiment to repeat the steel ball insertion operation again. It fully meets your needs.
