Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance quality of repair and appearance by spreading color coating on the repairing part and drying, over which ultraviolet rays cured coating is spread and irradiated with ultraviolet rays. CONSTITUTION:In repairing a car body finished with solid base coating, first, urethane racker or the like corresponding to the tone of solid base coating film 3 is spread on the bottom of a repairing part 4 and dried in normal or low temperature to form a color coating film 5. Next, on said color coating film 5, ultraviolet rays cured coating formed basically of acryl, reactive diluting agent, photopolymerization starting agent and micro additive and adjusted to a specified viscosity with dilute solving agent is spread, and for example, by 1-2min irradiation with light of a flourescent lamp 6 of 80-200W, a clear film 7 is formed and the repairing part is finished as hard as the base coating film 3.

(Conventional technology) The exterior painting of automobiles is generally done using a high-temperature baking method (approx.
0°C x 20 minutes), but when repairing such repairs, painting must be carried out with interior resin parts etc. attached, so the above-mentioned high temperature baking painting method cannot be applied.

(Problem to be solved by the invention) However, the coating film formed using the above-mentioned lacquer-based paint or two-component urethane paint has a lower hardness than the baked-on coating (baked-on coating). For the coating film degree F~H,
The present invention was made to solve the above-mentioned conventional problems, and its purpose is to improve performance and appearance. To provide a repair coating method capable of obtaining a repair coating film that does not have a similar color to that of a non-repaired area (-crotch) in terms of quality.

(Means for Solving the Problem) For this reason, the present invention involves applying a colored paint to the repaired area, drying it at room temperature or low temperature, then applying an ultraviolet curable paint thereon, and irradiating it with ultraviolet rays. It is characterized by the following.

(Function) In the vehicle body repair painting method configured as described above, by applying the colored paint, it becomes possible to adjust the color to match the general area, thereby ensuring the desired appearance quality. Also, by applying UV-curable paint to the surface! R-f! ! It becomes possible to form a coating film with high thickness, overcome the weaknesses of colored paint coatings, and ensure coating performance equivalent to that of general coatings.

Figure 5 shows an example of repair painting on a car body finished with mica-based paint. In this case, a color paint film 10 is applied to the base treatment film 2, a mica-based paint film 11, and a clear coat. Similarly to the above two embodiments, a colored paint film 5 made of urethane lacquer and a clear film made of ultraviolet curable paint are formed in a laminated manner on the repaired area 4.

In the above three examples, the color paint film 5 was formed under the clear paint film 7 made of ultraviolet curable paint, but the formation of this color paint film was omitted and a small amount of pigment was added. It is also possible to use the UV-curable paint alone for repairs. In this case, the repair efficiency is significantly improved due to the high quick-drying properties.
