変形を追従させることができなかつた。これは上

本発明は以上の不都合を解消すべく成されたも

成してヘツドライトカバー上面の窓部周縁を一段
凹ませて形成されたメーターカバー周縁形状に適
合する取付座部の下面に差し込むとともに、該メ
ーターカバーの他方の略平行する対辺部の下面に
一体に形成した突起をこれと対応して前記取付座
部に形成した小孔に挿入して抜け止め部材を嵌着
することによつて、当該メーターカバーを前記取
付座部内に装着することで、メーターカバーの上
面に結着具の頭部等が現れることなく、しかも別
個にビス等の結着具を必要とせず、簡単に両者を
組み付けることができ、更に組付状態にあつても
メーターカバーの周縁部端面でヘツドライトカバ
ーからの荷重を受け止める構造にして円滑に応力
分散がなされる等、以つて外観上の両カバーの一
体感は勿論、組付作業性の向上及び弾性変形の追
従の円滑化をも有効に達成することができる自動
二輪車におけるメーターカバーの取付構造を提供
するにある。

ーターカバーの周縁部端面でヘツドライトカバー
からの荷重が受け止められるため、リジツト構造
でなく、外力に対してフリーで柔軟性のある取付
構造によつて円滑に応力の分散が図れる等、以つ
て外観上の両カバーの一体感及び組付作業の向上
は勿論、弾性変形の追従の円滑化も有効に達成し
得る等多大なる利点を発揮することができる。
