Examples of conventional tonneau boards for vehicles include those shown in FIGS. 1 to 4 (see Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 79448/1983). That is, this vehicle tonneau board 1
The tonneau board main body 2 is mainly composed of a tonneau board body 2 and a pair of support members 3, 3 that support the tonneau board body 2. The tonneau board main body 2 has a planar shape, and is provided with a total of four L-shaped shafts 4 at substantially four corners of its lower surface 2a. On the other hand, a pair of support members 3, 3 are provided on both sides 6, 6 on the luggage compartment 5 of the vehicle, and shelf portions 3a, 3a are formed at mutually opposing portions of each support member 3, 3; The tonneau board body 2 is supported and fixed by a total of four clips 7 arranged on the top. Specifically, the clips 7 on the shelves 3a, 3a are engaged with the shaft 4 of the tonneau board main body 2, and the tonneau board main body 2 is supported and fixed via the shaft 4. The engagement with the clips 7 prevents the tonneau board body 2 from shifting in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle on the shelves 3a, 3a. Note that the shelf portions 3a, 3a formed on each of the support members 3, 3, when the tonneau board main body 2 is placed on the upper surfaces 3b, 3b of each support member 3, 3
The depth d is preset in consideration of the height h of the shaft 4, the thickness t of the tonneau board body 2, and other factors so that the top surface 2b of the tonneau board body 2 and the top surface 2b of the tonneau board body 2 are on the same plane (FIG. 2). Note that 8 is the rear seat.

However, in such a conventional vehicle tonneau board 1, the lower surface 2a of the tonneau board main body 2
Since it was necessary to provide four shafts 4 as separate members, the accompanying increase in the number of parts caused an increase in costs.
Since the clips 7 are arranged on the shelves 3a, 3a of the support members 3, 3, if a relative error occurs in the positions of the shaft 4 and the clips 7, the support members 3, 3, If a relative error occurs in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle when assembling the support members 3, etc., that error will directly cause poor engagement between the shaft 4 and the clip 7. required to maintain accuracy. In addition, when the tonneau board body 2 is removed and used when it is necessary to carry large or heavy items, the shelf section 3a
Not only are the clips 7 exposed, which is unfavorable in appearance, but also when the removed tonneau board body 2 is placed directly on the luggage compartment 5, space is sacrificed by the height h due to the presence of the shaft 4. [FIG. 4], furthermore, if an impact is applied to the shaft 4 in this state due to the placement of a heavy object or the like, there is a risk that the shaft 4 will bend.

This idea was created by focusing on the disadvantages of conventional tonneau boards for vehicles.
Instead of engaging and fixing the shaft and the clip, a positioning stopper part is provided on the shelf part of the support member to receive the corner part of the tonneau board body without a shaft,
Also, press the tonneau board body against these stopper parts.
The purpose is to provide a fixing spring and to solve the above-mentioned inconvenience by using the stopper part and the spring together.

FIGS. 5 to 7 are diagrams showing an embodiment of this invention. First, to explain the structure, this vehicle tonneau board 11 is mainly composed of a tonneau board main body 12 and supporting members 13, 13 thereof. The tonneau board main body 12 is simply a flat plate and does not include a shaft or anything else. On the other hand, the supporting members 13, 13 are provided on both sides 16 on the luggage compartment 15 of the vehicle as before.
A pair of shelf portions 13a, 13a are provided on each supporting member 13, 16, and are formed to face each other. These shelf portions 13a, 13a are located at both front and rear ends A, A of the tonneau board body 12 at corner portions 12 1 , 1
2 2 , 12 3 , 12 4 for positioning, and at least one of the front and rear ends thereof, in the illustrated example, the front end stopper part 19 1 ,
Springs 20 1 and 20 2 are installed within 19 2 . The springs 20 1 , 20 2 have a shape that combines bending and inclination, as shown in an enlarged view in FIG . 12 1 , 12 2
is pressed and fixed backwards and downwards. Stopper portions 19 1 , 19 2 , 19 3 , 1
9 4 works with the springs 20 1 and 20 2 to prevent the tonneau board main body 2 from moving in the vehicle longitudinal direction and vertical direction, and the position and bending shape of the tonneau board main body 2 can be determined in advance so that the tonneau board main body 2 can be installed and removed without any trouble. Set the size and other settings. Note that the tonneau board body 2 is restricted in the vehicle width direction by the shelf 13.
Perform on the standing walls 13b, 13b of a, 13a.

Next, attachment and detachment of the tonneau board main body 12 to and from the support members 13, 13 will be explained. First, the corner portion 12 of the tonneau board body 12 that is in front of the vehicle
1 and 12 2 into the stopper portions 19 1 and 19 2 provided in advance at the front ends of the springs 20 1 and 20 2 [FIG. 7A], and then the springs 20 1 and 2

Align the corners 12 3 , 12 4 that correspond to the rear of the vehicle with the stopper parts 19 3 , 19 4 at the rear end [Fig.
The corner portions 12 3 , 12 4 are pressed by the biasing forces of 1 , 20 2
are inserted into the stopper portions 19 3 and 19 4 [FIG. 7C]. As a result, the full-width portions 12 1 , 12 2 , 12 3 , 12 4 of the tonneau board main body 12 correspond to the stopper portions 19 1 , 19 2 , 19 3 , 19 4 , respectively.
The tonneau board main body 12 is urged downward and rearward by the springs 20 1 and 20 2 to be pressed and fixed on the shelves 13 a and 13 a.

In addition, as other embodiments, springs 20 1 , 20
2 are arranged in the stopper portions 19 3 , 19 4 on the rear end side of each support member 13 , 13 instead of the front end, or a total of 4 stoppers 19 1 , 19 2 , 19 3 , 19 4 are arranged in all the stoppers 19 1 , 19 2 , 19 3 , 19 4 . Of course, it is possible to do so. In this case, the spring disposed on the rear end side urges the tonneau board body 12 downward and forward of the vehicle to press and fix it. In principle, each spring biases the tonneau board body 12 downward, but it may be tilted so as to bias the tonneau board body 12 upward. It goes without saying that the shape of each spring is not limited to the shape according to this embodiment.

As explained above, the structure of the tonneau board for a vehicle according to the present invention is such that the pair of support members are provided with shelves for supporting the tonneau board body at opposing parts, and the front and rear ends of each of the shelves are The tonneau board is provided with curved stopper portions for positioning each corner of the tonneau board body, and in at least one of the stopper portions at both the front and rear ends, a stopper portion is provided that extends in the front or rear direction of the vehicle and in the upward or downward direction. Since a spring is attached to press and fix the tonneau board body, there is no need to provide a shaft or other separate parts to the tonneau board body itself, which reduces costs. Also, errors in the assembly position of each support member, especially in the conventional method, can be reduced. Even if some error occurs in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, which has a narrow tolerance range, the spring can absorb the error in the present invention. or,
When the tonneau board body is removed, unlike conventional clips that are exposed, there is no such clip, and the spring is hidden within the bent stopper portion, resulting in a good appearance. Since the removed tonneau board body is just a flat plate without a shaft, when placed directly on the luggage compartment, there is no need to sacrifice the space equivalent to the height of the shaft as in the conventional case. All of the conventional inconveniences caused by this are eliminated.
