PURPOSE:To eliminate the differences between printing quality in forward printing and that in backward printing, by a method wherein an ink ribbon capable of being subjected to three or more over-strikings is used, and an operating speed of a printing part in a forward direction and that in a backward direction are controlled based on a specified equation.
