自動洗濯機においては、上記定在波13の周波数は約3

tl z付近の騒音が発生する。この定在波は洗濯機
本体7の内部コーナ部で、その音圧レベルが最大になる
性質に着目して、仕切板9によって洗濯機本体7の内部
コーナ部にvBrJ]された空間8を形成し、次のよう
にして上記定在波の発生を抑制している。すなわち空間
8の体積と小孔10の働きで、この空間8はへルムホル
ム型の共鳴器の役目を果し、体積、小孔の大きさと適切
に設泪すると、30011z付近で共鳴させる事が可能
になる。そしてコーナ部の入射音響インピーダンスが3
0011z付近で非常に小さくなって音が反射されなく
なり、結果として定在波が抑制される。また仕切板9が
洗濯機本体7に固着されるため、補強材の役目を果し、
洗濯機本体7の剛性が大きくなり、洗濯機本体7の振動
