Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an electric washing machine reduced in vibration and noise by mounting the sheet-shaped material of low acoustic radiating efficiency to a part of walls of an outer tub and an outer frame at least. CONSTITUTION:A sheet 11 composed of the material of the low acoustic radiating efficiency such as felt, etc., is mounted to a part of the walls of an outer tub 3 and an outer frame 1 at least, for example, to a part of the outer periphery of the outer tub 3 at least with providing an interval. The outer tub 3 and sheet 11 are fixed at plural spots by a both sides tape, etc., through an elastic body 12. By providing elasticity in the sheet, the sheet acts as a buffer material when the outer tub collides with the outer frame. Accordingly, resonance is easily exceeded or a collision tone is reduced. Thus, since the acoustic radiation of the noise, which is transmitted from an inner tub 9 through a shaft, from the outer frame 1 of the outer tub 3 can be widely reduced, the noise is extremely reduced during dehydrating operation, etc.

According to the present invention, by pasting a sheet-like material on the outer tub and the wall of the outer frame of the electric washing machine or by forming a double wall, the inner tub where the driving force is transmitted through the central axis of the drive source. The vibrations and noise of the device are insulated by the sheet, gas layer, or liquid layer. In particular, specific low-frequency sounds are effectively reduced, and for example, the sheet attached to the outer frame reduces not only the vibration sound of the outer frame itself but also the noise generated inside the outer frame from leaking to the outside.

An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2. In this type of electric washing machine, the inner tub 9 is used both for washing and dehydrating the laundry, and the inner tub 9 is rotatably installed inside, and the outer tub 3 for receiving water is an outer tub 3 with a cover 2. Frame 1
is elastically supported via at least one elastic support mechanism 4. A drive mechanism consisting of a transmission 5 and a motor 6 is fixed to the bottom of the outer tank 3 via a base 7. The driving force of the motor 6 is transmitted to the transmission 5 via the belt 8.

The transmission 5 has a two-shaft structure, with an inner tank 9 fixed to the outer shaft and a stirring blade 10 fixed to the center shaft via a gear mechanism. Next, we will explain its operation. By placing the clothes and detergent to be washed in the inner tank 9 and turning on the electricity, a certain amount of water is supplied.
When the water supply ends, the stirring blades 10 automatically start rotating and wash the clothes while stirring them. When washing is finished, draining and rinsing are performed, and after draining, the inner tank 9 rotates and the clothes are centrifugally dehydrated. During this dewatering process, unbalance occurs due to unevenness of the clothes, and the outer tub 3 vibrates violently through the inner tub 9 and the central shaft, generating noise. In particular, the acoustic radiation from the outer tank 3, which has a large radiation area, is large.

Conventional outer tanks are made of integrally molded plastic.
Although the attenuation is greater than that of iron plates, the excitation caused by the vibration of the inner tank is large, making it a source of noise. In this embodiment, the sheet 11 is made of a material with low acoustic radiation efficiency such as felt.
is attached to at least part of the walls of the outer tank 3 and the outer frame 1, for example, with a gap (void) provided in at least a part of the outer periphery of the outer tank. Although there may be no gap, the gap is provided because sound is radiated when the sheet 11 comes into contact with the outer tank, and a gap provides a greater sound insulation effect against low-frequency sounds. Also, sound absorbing material may be used instead of the gap. The outer tank 3 and the sheet 11 are fixed using double-sided tape or the like using the elastic body 1.
Although it is preferable to fix the outer tank in several places through the outer tank 2, it is also possible to cover the outer tank with a sheet as shown in FIG. Furthermore, by providing elasticity to the sheet, it acts as a buffer material in the event of a collision with the outer frame, which has many advantages, such as making it easier to overcome resonance and reducing collision noise.

What is the difference from the conventional outer tank? A net-like sheet 12 made of an elastic material such as rubber or a perforated sheet 13 is wrapped around the outer circumference of the outer tank 3 with an air layer interposed therebetween. In this case, sheet 12
.. Applying an initial tension to the outer tank 13 leads to improved rigidity of the outer tank 3 and increases the natural frequency, which is good for reducing the vibration of the outer tank 3. However, it is not necessary to apply an initial tension to the outer tank 3. The effect of the perforated sheet is to reduce the sound radiation area from the outer tank and attenuate sound waves due to the holes.

これにより外槽からの音響放射が低減される。This reduces acoustic radiation from the outer tank.

Another embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 5 to 7. The feature of this embodiment is that it has a double structure in which at least part of the walls of the outer tank and the inner tank are formed with a double wall that faces each wall with a gap in between. The side wall of the building is double-walled, and many holes are drilled on the outside surface. This hole reduces its own acoustic radiation area and also allows radiation to be emitted from the inner surface of the outer tank. It has the effect of attenuating the sound that is heard. This double-structured outer tank may be molded as one piece, but it is better to make it separately and isolate the outer tank from the inner tank using vibration isolating material, etc. to reduce vibration transmission from the motor, etc., and to insulate the sound. The effect is also great. Inserting an adsorbent between the double structures is also effective for sound insulation.

The feature of this embodiment is that the space of the outer tank 3 having double-walled sides is filled with a liquid such as water or a gas 14 such as air. This liquid 14 has the effect of lowering the overall vibration due to its mass effect, and also suppresses the vibration of the side surface of the outer tank 3, thereby reducing acoustic radiation from the outer tank. The double structure may be integrally molded, but the same effect can also be obtained by wrapping a rubber tube filled with water around the side of the outer tank. Another embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG.

In this embodiment, the bottom surface of the outer tank has a double structure. This is because the vibrations of the motor and drive shaft are easily transmitted to the bottom of the outer tank, generating low-frequency sounds. The double structure of the bottom wall has the effect of suppressing this sound. The effect can be further enhanced by filling part or all of this void with a liquid such as water. Moreover, it goes without saying that the effect will be greater if both the side wall and the bottom wall have a double structure.

Another embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to No. 10@. In this embodiment, the seat 11 is attached to the outer frame 1 with gaps provided on three sides, the front and left and right side surfaces of the inner wall. This is highly effective in reducing the sound pressure inside the outer frame 1 and in reducing the sound transmitted from the outer frame 1 to the outside. However, since the rear cover B is screwed onto the back cover from behind, the vibrations of the back cover are attenuated and the back cover itself is less likely to make noise, and the back cover has ventilation holes so that a seat can be attached for ventilation purposes. It is not desirable to do so.
