- 逃げ面とすくい面との間の稜線部に形成された
切刃で回転する被加工物の外周面を切削するバイ
ト用のスローアウエイチツプにおいて、上記すく
い面と上記切刃との間に上記すくい面に対して鈍
角で交わる傾斜面状のネガテイブランドを形成し
、かつ上記すくい面の中央部に上記ネガテイブラ
ンドに達する凹部を形成するとともに、上記ネガ
テイブランドと上記逃げ面との間の上記切刃およ
び上記ネガテイブランドと上記すくい面との間の
稜線部に、それぞれＲ０．０３〜Ｒ０．０５の丸
ホーニング部を形成したことを特徴とするスロー
アウエイチツプ。
