Abstract

PURPOSE:To curtail a total line length by arranging side panel assembly and transfer lines at both sides of a straight main line leading from a transfer line for floor assembly to a car body assembly station. CONSTITUTION:A pair of assembly lines 10 for a side panel 'W3' is arranged in parallel with a transfer line 3 at both right and left sides thereof. The side panel 'W3' for right and left sides as assembled on an assembly line 10 is transferred to each welding jig 7 via each right and left transfer line 11 extending forward from each assembly line 10. This assembly line 10 is provided with a charge station 'S1', a small part temporary fitting station 'S2', a small part tightening station 'S3', a sealing agent application station 'S4' and a discharge station 'S5' respectively in an order from the aft end to the forward end. Also, a part transfer hanger is provided between each station.

(Problem to be solved by the invention) In the above-mentioned apparatus, a transfer line for floor processing extending behind the set station is provided, and the floor processed by the transfer line is fed directly into the set station. (5) It is conceivable to construct a straight main line from the transfer line to the body assembly station, and in this case, the side panel processing line should also be placed along the main line (:) for efficient use of space. It would also be desirable to reduce equipment costs by shortening the transport distance of the side panel from the machining gill to the welding jig.

As shown in FIGS. 12 and 13, the dispensing hanger (c) is supported by a pair of front and rear trolleys 6η (at 4 o'clock) on the top surface of the conveyor rail (g) on the conveyor line α°C so that it can run freely. A pair of front and rear arms (■) are attached to a longitudinally longitudinally extending conveyor par (6) with a longitudinally extending shaft rod (43a) at its upper end.
The dispensing no. and the fourth hanger (124) are stopped at the same positions on the inside and outside in the lateral direction at the dispensing station S5, and by swinging both arms laterally outward. Each of the hooks (goods) is moved to the work receiving position facing directly below the opening edge of the side panel W3 suspended by the fourth hanger (124), and then the above-mentioned Lower the support rod αη so that each hook receives the tin panel W3, and then swing both arm decoys (c) back to the vertical position and turn the payout lever (to). It was arranged to be transported to transfer station S6.

In addition, when each arm (good) swings outward in the lateral direction, each hook (2) swings counterclockwise in FIG. It is maintained in a horizontal position, but when each arm swings inward in the lateral direction, the stopper pin (44b) provided at the lower end of each arm prevents each hook from moving inwards. The arms are prevented from swinging in the clockwise direction, and the seven ivy 44 are allowed to swing upward and away together with the arms.
