コンベアと、この移送コンベアの上下各側に対向
する紫外線灯とが備えられている紫外線殺菌装置
において、前記紫外線灯に沿う冷却管が設けられ
ているとともに、この冷却管へ冷却水を注入する
給水路が設けられており、且つ紫外線灯の付近の
温度を検知する温度検知部材と、この温度検知部
材の検知信号に応じて前記給水路から冷却管への
給水を断続する制御弁とが設けられていることを
特徴とする紫外線殺菌装置。 (2) 冷却管は、紫外線灯の背後に位置している
反射板の裏面に放射熱を介して密着して設けられ
ている実用新案登録請求の範囲第１項記載の紫外
