Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize high-quality, sharp recording on a recording medium having at least a dual structure such as general-purpose recording paper like commercial high-grade paper or envelope by providing a heating element for heating both sides of a recording medium before printing on the recording medium, and a heating element for heating the recording surface or non-recording surface of the recording medium after printing. CONSTITUTION:A heating element 3 heats the non-recording surface of a recording medium 5 and a heating element 4 heats the recording surface. The heating elements used 3, 4 are hollow aluminium cylinders with a sheet-like sheathed heaters formed around the former, for instance, and heats the recording medium by contact heat transfer. 品質の鮮明な記録を実現することが可能となるという効
果を有する。
