Abstract

PURPOSE:To lower temperature at a bearing part by sucking in a low temperature air through a cooling duct around a motor by means of two cooling vanes and cooling said motor. CONSTITUTION:A cooling vane 12A is fixed to a motor shaft 4 between a casing 13 and a motor 17, and a cooling vane 12B is fixed to the motor shaft 4 on the opposite side to the cooling vane 12A across the motor 17. A cooling duct 7 has an opening part 9 on the cooling vane 12A side while having an inlet part 10 on the cooling vane 12B side. By rotating the cooling vanes 12A, 12B, air at the inlet part 10 of the cooling duct 7 is sucked in to cool the motor 17, and is discharged out of the opening part 9. Thereby, temperature at a bearing part can be greatly lowered.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Conventionally, the bearing of a combustion fan is held by guides 26 fixed to both ends of a case 21 of a motor 33, as shown in FIG. Inside the bearing 25, there is a blade 3 at one end.
A motor shaft 24 having a rotor 23 fixed thereto and a rotor 23 fixed at the other end is rotatably held. During operation, the combustion fan sucks in combustion exhaust gas from the water heater through the intake port 30 and exhausts it through the outlet 31. A cooling blade 28 is provided in the middle of the motor shaft 24, but if the ambient temperature around the motor 33 is too high, even if the motor 33 is cooled by the cooling blade 28,
The cooling effect of the motor 33 is insufficient and the bearing 25 becomes hot.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, in the above-described configuration, the bearing 25 of the motor 33 becomes hot, so the lubricant such as oil or grease inside the bearing 25 hardens and becomes particles due to the high temperature of approximately 90°C or higher. This caused major problems such as the bearing's lubrication becoming insufficient, producing abnormal noises, and eventually seizing up and stopping it from rotating.

Means for Solving the Problems In order to solve the above problems, the combustion fan of the present invention includes a motor shaft with blades fixed to one end, a casing that rotatably houses the blades, and a motor and a casing that are connected to each other. It comprises a stay to be fixed, and a cooling blade A fixed on the motor shaft between the casing and the motor, and a cooling blade B fixed on the shaft on the opposite side of the cooling blade A with the motor in between. A cooling duct is provided which encloses the motor and the cooling vane B, has an opening on the cooling vane A side, and has an inlet on the cooling vane B side.

When the motor 17 rotates, the blades 15 rotate within the casing 13, sucking in the exhaust gas from the water heater through the suction port 14 of the casing 13, and exhausting it into the atmosphere through the outlet 16. At this time, cooling vanes 12A, 1 fixed on the motor shaft 4
2B rotates, sucks air from the inlet 10 of the cooling duct 7, cools the motor 17, and discharges it from the opening 9. The inlet section 10 is provided in a low temperature section of the water heater in order to enhance the cooling effect of the motor 17. Therefore, the temperature rise of the motor 17 is reduced, and the temperature of the bearing 5 is significantly reduced.
