い。 That is, conventionally designed yarns in which a metal-deposited film is wound around a suitable core yarn have been widely used as so-called lame yarns. However, the core thread of such lame thread is not strong enough to withstand sewing, and since ordinary lame thread has a vapor-deposited film wrapped around it without any gaps, it can be applied to sewing machines as is. When this occurs, the surface may peel off or shift due to friction with a needle, etc., making it unusable. In addition, such lame threads have little variation in design because they are wound with only a limited single color of vapor-deposited metal, such as gold for gold or silver for silver, without gaps.

ある。以下、例を挙げて説明する。 The present invention provides a novel sewing thread that has not been previously seen in this respect, and is characterized by the fact that a plurality of threads having a first twist are combined, and the sewing thread is 300 to 1200 T/2 in the opposite direction to the first twist. It is characterized in that a colored thread consisting of M ply-twist is used as a core thread, and a narrow metal-deposited film cut into slits is wound spirally around the core thread so that the core thread is exposed. be. This will be explained below using an example.

It was dyed to form a core thread. On the other hand, a #50 (12μ) 80 cut (1/80 size) lame thread made of a polyester film with aluminum vapor-deposited was prepared as a metal-deposited thread to be wrapped around the thread, and was governed using a circular twisting machine under the following conditions.

When this is used as the upper thread of a lockstitch sewing machine, it shows excellent sewing performance without thread breakage. Furthermore, the use of a core thread with a different color tone from the metallic color of the glitter thread creates a two-color color change, which has a design effect of presenting an appearance rich in elegance never seen before.

The core yarn was constructed using the following methods. On the other hand, a #50 (12μ) 80 cut (1/80 size) lame thread made of polyester film deposited with silver was prepared as a metal-deposited thread to be wrapped around this, and this was covered using a circular twisting machine under the following conditions.

Therefore, if this is less than 60%, the strength will decrease due to poor conjugation, and the strength will decrease to 100%.
This is because if the twist is too strong, snarls will occur and it will not be possible to sew properly. Incidentally, the core yarn is preferably a spun yarn as in Example 1,
Furthermore, when the cutting elongation is set to 13 to 17%, the sewability is further improved.

It is possible to use a material to which silver or iris foil is pasted, etc., which is cut into an arbitrary width using a slitter. Furthermore, when covering, yarn feeding speed,
By changing conditions such as tension, the exposed width of the core yarn can be changed arbitrarily.
