- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 エンジンＥのクランクケース１の後面開口部３
に後面蓋４を閉蓋固定し、クランクケース１内に
クランク軸５を前後方向に走らせて設け、クラン
クケース１の潤滑油貯留室１３内に浮子式の油面
検出器１８を設けてなるエンジンのクランクケー
ス内の油面検出装置において、 油面検出器１８の防波ケース１９を小判形に形
成するとともに、防波ケース１９の内側でガイド
棒２０に案内されて昇降するフロート２１を小判
形に形成し、防波ケース１９の内面に複数の突条
２６を縦向きに形成し、この油面検出器１８を後
面蓋４の底壁部１６に透設した油面検出器装着孔
１７にその長軸Ｌが後面蓋４の内側壁２９に沿う
状態で外部から装着したことを特徴とするエンジ
ンのクランクケース内の油面検出装置。
