キングプレート上に拡開可能に配設された一対の
ブレーキシユーと、該ブレーキシユー間に架け渡
されてそれ等を内周側から支持するストラツトと
、前記ブレーキシユーの一方に回動可能に設けら
れ、該ストラツトの一端と係合するストラツト係
合部と円弧状に形成された係合歯とを有する調節
部材と、該調節部材の係合歯と係合可能に前記ブ
レーキシユーの一方に設けられて該調節部材のシ
ユー間隙増大方向の回動を阻止するがシユー間隙
減少方向の回動を許容する掛止歯とを備え、前記
調節部材の回動位置により前記ライニングの摩耗
に伴つてシユー間隙が自動的に調節される形式の
ドラムブレーキ用シユー間隙自動調節装置におい
て、 前記ブレーキシユーの一方に、前記ライニング
の摩耗量が予め定められた一定量を超えたとき、
前記調節部材と当接して該調節部材のシユー間隙
減少方向の回動を阻止するストツパを設けたこと
を特徴とするドラムブレーキ用シユー間隙自動調
