【考案の詳細な説明】 本考案はバンドブレーキの改良に関するもので
ある。

快な高音を発する欠点があつた。これに対し実開
昭53−36683号、実開昭54−58582号では、ドラム
周面を断続的としたり溝を設けたりしたものを開
示しているが、それらの断続部分は明らかな溝の
ためライニングの喰込みが生じ異音発生や、ブレ
ーキロツクの発生を避けることができない。

はライニング1の緊締作用によりブレーキドラム
2の回転を停止させる形式のバンドブレーキ3に
於いて、前記ブレーキドラム2の周面4に、ライ
ニング1の圧着を緩和する所定幅の凹面5を数箇
所等間隔に設け、凹面5はドラム周面4を一部平
面化した平坦面6で構成したものである。而して
本考案で凹面5とは、ブレーキドラム2の周面4
より凹んであり、かつ図示の如くドラム幅程度の
幅を有するものである。従つて、該凹面5はドラ
ム2の周面を研削したり、或いはドラム2をプレ
ス成形する際に同時に賦形したりすることにより
形成することができる。

キ作用も徐々に行なわれ、結果としてブレーキ騒
音が小さくなる。なお平坦面7の傾斜方向は全て
の凹部に付き同じでなくとも良く、交互に反対向
きとして緊締作用が平均になされるようにしても
良い。この凹面5はドラム周面に複数個(実施例
では等間隔に4個)設ける。
