Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the skin stickable unitarily simultaneously with shaping of the skin into a form of cavity, by casting resin by inserting a skin slightly larger than that of a cavity surface forming the surface part of a pad within a mold. CONSTITUTION:The titled wheel pad is constituted of a structure that a pad body of vinyl chloride resin is molded through injection by making use of a core insert 3 composed of glass fiber reinforced polypropylene resin and the external circumferential part of the front and back sides are stuck unitarily with the skin 4 composed of real leather or synthetic leather which has been kept inserted within a mold. A core insert 3 is fitted to a movable mold 5 and the skin 4 is fitted to the front of the core insert 3. The skin 4 is established slightly larger than the surface forming the surface part of the pad of a cavity to be formed by clamping a movable mold 5 and a stationary mold 6 each other. With this construction, the skin is stuck closely through insertion molding at a time and the skin is made fittable extremely easily.
