The fleshing of a mannequin with such a skeleton needs to be made of a flexible and elastic material, which can be achieved by injecting an elastic polymer material latex into the mold together with a reaction initiator, but generally it is necessary to fill the mold with two or more outer molds. Because it is made into a mold, "burrs" occur on the surface of the demolded mannequin due to the joints of the split molds.

However, when the material of the mannequin is an elastic polymer material, it is extremely difficult to perform polishing or cutting treatments to remove the "burrs".

In addition, if the mold is forcibly removed with these "burrs" still formed, ugly scratches will occur on the smooth outer surface, which resembles human skin, and this will significantly reduce the commercial value of the mannequin.

An object of the present invention is to solve the above-mentioned problems and provide a method for manufacturing a mannequin that does not generate "burrs" during molding and can be removed from the mold without damaging the surface of the molded object.

In order to solve the above problems, this invention
Inside the undivided outer mold, which is formed to imitate the shape of the upper body of a human body and has an open torso and a core insertion port in the head and shoulders, hollow sections are formed from the open part and the core insertion port, respectively. A forming core is loaded, and a latex made of an elastic polymer material is injected together with a reaction initiator into the hollow space formed between the core and the outer mold. After the reaction is completed, the core is removed and then covered. This method of manufacturing a mannequin is characterized in that the molded product is removed from the mold by pushing it out into an open part while shrinking and twisting from each core insertion port.

With the core assembled in the outer mold, an elastic polymer material latex is injected into the outer mold and polymerized (or crosslinked). After polymerization (or crosslinking) of the injected material, the core is removed from the outer mold and covered. The molded product is extracted from the open part of the outer mold. During this demolding, a hand or an instrument is inserted through the core insertion opening, and the molded product is crushed and twisted while being pushed toward the opening.

In addition, thermosetting synthetic resin such as polyester type resin mixed with short glass fibers is sprayed onto the surface of the original mold made of refractory gypsum or other heat-resistant material to form an outer mold several millimeters thick, which is then heated and hardened. After that, the master mold is dissolved or crushed and removed.

With the cores 8a, 8b, and 8c inserted into the outer mold 1, from the hole 12 formed in the flange of the core 8a,
A latex 13 made of an elastic polymer material such as natural rubber or urethane rubber is injected together with a reaction initiator and polymerized (or crosslinked). After polymerization (or crosslinking) of the elastic polymer material, as shown in FIGS. As shown, core 8b,
The core 8c and the core 8a are extracted in this order, and then the molded mannequin body portion 14 is removed from the lower end open portion 2 of the outer mold 1.

At this time, since the head 3 has a larger diameter than the neck 4, it is difficult to pull it out downwards, but insert your hand through the core loading opening 7b on the upper back side of the outer mold 1 and grasp the head 3 of the mannequin. By pushing it toward the neck 4 while twisting, the head 3 is reduced and can easily pass through the neck as the body 5 is pulled downward.
As a result, the molded mannequin body part 14 is
The mold can be removed smoothly from the open part 2.

As described above, in the mannequin obtained by the manufacturing method of the present invention, since the outer mold 1 is the body to be divided, "burrs" that occur at the joints of the split molds are not generated. Therefore, there is no need to perform "burr" removal processing such as polishing or cutting, which significantly reduces the commercial value of molded products made of elastic polymer materials, and there is an advantage that high-quality molding can be achieved.

Furthermore, by reducing the size of the molded object and extruding it while screwing to remove it from the mold, even a molded part with a change in diameter can be smoothly removed from the mold, and damage to the surface of the molded product during demolding can be eliminated. Therefore, it is possible to provide a mannequin with a beautiful outer surface.
