３弁エンジンブレーキ運転時の作動タイミング図
である。第３図は、デイーゼルエンジンの燃焼及
びブレーキングサイクルのＰＶ線図であつて、ａ
は通常のエンジンブレーキのＰＶ線図、ｂは排気
ブレーキＰＶ線図、ｃは圧縮エンジンブレーキＰ
Ｖ線図、そしてｄは併用式エンジンブレーキＰＶ
線図である。第４図は、従来の第３弁エンジンブ
レーキの構造図であつて、Ａは説明構造断面図で
あり、Ｂは一部断面側面図である。第５図は、従

の切換えで、他気筒の第３弁開弁タイミングを排
気行程に作動させて排気効率を向上させることを
