た。 Many machines and appliances, including automobiles, are used with labels containing usage instructions and warnings affixed to them. Since such labels are used with instructions and warnings selected from a wide variety of types depending on the purpose, model of the machine, etc., they must be convenient for handling operations. For this reason, adhesive labels in which an adhesive is applied to the back side of the label and paraffin paper is pasted on the surface of the adhesive are widely used. When using this adhesive label, it can be applied extremely easily by simply peeling off the paraffin paper, bringing the adhesive into contact with the object, and pressing it. However, if an adhesive label is attached directly to the surface of an insulator made of a porous material, such as a hood insulator for an automobile engine cover, the label will fall off in a short period of time. For this reason, conventionally, insulators with labels affixed to areas exposed to water, vibration, heat, and humidity, such as in automobiles, have not been used; if a label is required, the part of the insulator to which the label is affixed is cut off. The label was affixed directly to the back of the bonnet hood where the insulator should be isolated. For this reason, in the past, when a label was attached, the appearance was poor and the isolation effect as an insulator was partially inhibited.

That's what I got. That is, the insulator with the attached label of the present invention has a main body made of a plate-shaped porous material having a surface shape corresponding to the surface shape of the object to be isolated, and a thermoplastic material on the surface portion of the main body to which the label is attached. A product characterized by comprising a resin film layer integrated with the surface portion of the main body obtained by heat-sealing a resin film, and a label having an adhesive on the back side affixed to the surface of the resin film layer. It is.

A wall-like article that provides isolation from heat, vibration, or a combination thereof. Such an insulator is used by being attached to the surface of the above-mentioned certain object with a fixing device such as an adhesive or a clip. Therefore, the insulator has a surface shape that corresponds to the surface shape of the object to which it is attached.

This main body corresponds to a conventional insulator made of porous material. Here, "made of porous materials" refers to materials that are made by consolidating fibers such as glass fibers, synthetic fibers, and natural fibers and have many voids on the surface and inside, or materials that have many voids on the surface and inside, such as foamed glass and foamed plastic. pores. When consolidating fibers into a plate shape, the fibers can be bonded together using an adhesive, or the fibers can be intertwined and fixed in a felt shape by driving a needle punch. Note that a porous material having holes or voids on its surface has excellent sound absorption properties.

When it is melted by heating, its viscosity decreases and it penetrates into the holes or gaps on the surface of the main body. Therefore, the surface portion of the main body and the thermoplastic resin film are integrated. Note that the heating is limited to such an extent that the surface of the thermoplastic resin film does not lose its smoothness. Alternatively, thermocompression bonding may be performed by applying pressure when the thermoplastic resin film is softened by heating.

Specifically, films of nylon, polyester, polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene, polypropylene, etc. may be used. In particular, hot melt and thermoplastic resin films used as adhesives are preferred because they can be easily fixed to the surface of the main body by thermocompression bonding.

Adhesive labels usually consist of a paper or resin sheet with a certain marking on its surface and an adhesive coated on the back side of the sheet. Note that when not in use, the adhesive surface of the adhesive label is protected with a non-adhesive film such as paraffin paper. The insulator of the present invention has this adhesive label attached to the surface of a resin film layer formed on a part of the main body.

It consists of the process of pasting adhesive tape.
The thermoplastic resin film is fused to the surface of the main body by heating and melting the thermoplastic resin film. As the thermoplastic resin film melts, its fluidity increases, and the resin flows into the pores or voids of the main body and becomes integrated with the surface portion of the main body. The heating means may be any method using hot air, an infrared lamp, a hot plate, or the like. From the viewpoint of workability, an excellent method is to press a hot plate, melt the thermoplastic resin film with the heat of the hot plate, and press with the pressure of the hot plate. In this method, the resin film is pressed into the holes or gaps in the main body and integrated with the main body. On the other hand, the surface of the resin film becomes smooth and follows the surface of the hot plate. Therefore, an ideal resin film layer can be obtained. To apply an adhesive label, simply peel off the non-adhesive paper, apply it and press it as usual.

が樹脂フイルム層に固定される。 In the insulator having the adhesive label of the present invention, since the adhesive of the label adheres to the smooth surface of the resin film layer, most of the adhesive except for the peripheral area is held airtight. Therefore, the low-molecular-weight components contained in the adhesive are less likely to become diluted and solidified, or react with oxygen in the air and change their properties, causing deterioration such as a decrease in adhesive strength. Therefore, the label is fixed to the resin film layer for a long period of time.

In other words, the resin enters the pores and gaps on the surface of the main body and is integrated like an anchor, thereby reinforcing the surface portion of the main body. Therefore, there is little risk that the main body and the resin film layer will separate or the surface portion of the main body will be damaged and fall off.

あつた。 The main body 1 of this hood insulator is exactly the same as a conventionally known hood insulator. That is, the main body 1 is formed by impregnating a glass fiber mat with phenol as an adhesive, layering a nonwoven fabric made of polyester fiber on top of the mat, and compacting and molding this by hot pressing.
A nylon hot-melt film with a thickness of about 30 microns is layered on the surface of the main body 1, and Teflon tape is used as a release paper on top of the film.
A 140°C hot plate is pressed onto the film to thermocompress the hot melt film onto the surface of the main body 1. After that, the hot plate is removed, the film is allowed to cool naturally, and the release paper is removed. A film layer 2 was formed. As schematically shown in FIG. 2, the resin film layer 2 has many anchors 21 that have penetrated into the gaps on the surface of the main body 1, and the surface of the resin film layer 2 has no holes or cracks. It was in a smooth state with no cracks. This resin film layer 2
A label 3 having a rubber-based adhesive layer 31 was pasted on the back side of which a handling precaution was displayed. A durability test was conducted by attaching this hood insulator to the inside of a bonnet hood with a clip, but there was no problem with the label 3 detaching from the main body 1. Furthermore, the insulators having the attached labels of the present invention did not suffer from a decrease in heat insulation performance due to the attachment of the labels, and were also excellent in appearance.
