Claims (1)
- 感光体に対向する部分に開口を有する現像容器
と、該現像容器内に上記開口を介して、かつ該開
口の上下の縁と間隙を置いて、磁石を内臓する回
転可能な現像スリーブとを有し、現像容器内に貯
溜される二成分現像剤を回転する現像スリーブの
周面に上記磁石の磁力により吸着して上記の上側
の間隙を経て感光体に対向する現像領域に搬送し
、上記磁石のうち現像スリーブを介して感光体に
対向する位置にある現像主極により現像剤中のト
ナーを感光体上の潜像に付着させて現像を行ない
、現像後の現像剤を現像スリーブ周面に吸着して
上記下側の間隙を経て現像容器内に戻す現像装置
において、上記の現像容器の開口部の縁部に、上
記の現像主極との間に開口幅全長にわたつて磁界
を形成する如く磁性部材を配置したことを特徴と
する現像装置。
