- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 静電潜像を保持した静電潜像保持体に現像剤を
担持した円筒形状の現像剤担持体を接触させて現
像を行う現像装置であつて、前記現像剤担持体の
両端部の円筒面及びこれに直角な端面にシール部
材が圧接されるものにおいて、 前記現像剤担持体において前記静電潜像を現像
する領域外であつて該現像剤担持体の両端から離
れた円筒面の円周方向に環状の切欠きを設けたこ
とを特徴とする現像装置。
