In conventional printed board packages, the connector housing is positioned and attached to each printed board, which requires highly accurate positioning for plugging in with the shelf-side connector, making the connector installation and assembly work difficult and difficult. There were cases where misalignment occurred. In addition, the reinforcing frame portion 4 and the insertion/extraction lever 3 are directly attached to the printed board 1 (
1, there were cases in which vibrations, shocks, etc. during the installation work did not adversely affect the electronic components mounted on the printed board. In addition, the reinforcing frame portion 4 becomes an obstacle to air circulation due to convection and reduces heat dissipation. Furthermore, such conventional pudding I/board packages required a large number of man-hours to assemble each component, resulting in poor workability.

This package frame 20 is constructed by plastic molding the connector housing 12 at the rear edge, the insertion/extraction lever support section 13b at the front edge, and the reinforcing frame section 14 and guide rail 16 at the upper and lower edges. It is molded. Note that only the connector housing may be made of plastic, and the other parts may be made of die-cast aluminum alloy or the like. After the printed board 11 is attached to the package frame 20, the pins 18 of the connector housing I2 are connected to the wiring pattern (not shown) on the printed board 11. Note that the electrical connection between the pin 18 and the printed board 11 may be made by press fitting.

Since the package frame 20 is a molded product, the extraction position of each bottle of the connector housing 12, for example, the position determined by the distance S+, 32.33, etc. in FIG. This makes it possible to uniformly manufacture a large number of high-precision molded bodies. A ventilation hole 15 is provided in the reinforcing frame portion 14. An inclined surface 17 is formed at the end of the guide rail 16 in the insertion direction to facilitate the insertion operation.

The insertion/extraction lever 13 is connected to the insertion/extraction lever support part 1 by the bin 13a.
3b. As shown in FIG. 3, this insertion/extraction lever 13 is arranged so that the approximate center of the connector housing 12 is located at an extension line -h in the pulling direction (arrow A) of the package frame 20 by the insertion/extraction lever at the insertion/extraction lever attachment position. That is,
It is desirable that the center line of the insertion/removal lever 13 and the center line of the connector housing 12 be aligned. With this configuration, the pulling force exerted by the insertion/extraction lever 13 acts as a separation force of the connector housing 12 from the shelf-side connector, and no unnecessary force is applied to the printed circuit board 11 or the like.

FIG. 4 shows the structure of a shelf that accommodates the printed board package configured as described above. 2F with a large number of ventilation holes 24,
A housing is constituted by a plate 40, a lower plate 41 (only the ventilation holes of the L-plate are shown), a side plate 25, and a backboard 31. -■- The plate 40 and the lower plate 41 are provided with a plurality of guide grooves 27 into which the guide rails 16 of the printed board package are inserted. Reference numeral 26 indicates a mounting bracket 28 for mounting on the frame frame, and 29 and 30 indicate upper and lower shield plates, respectively. The backboard 31 is provided with a large number of connectors 32 arranged in parallel in two stages to connect with each printed board package. The wiring of each connector 32 is connected to an external connection connector 33 on the back surface of the backboard, and is connected to external wiring by an external connector 34.

Another example of a printed board package is shown in FIGS. 5 and 6. In this example, an optical connector 22 is provided in the upper connector housing 12, and an optical fiber cable 22 is provided in the upper connector housing 12.
3 is connected to an optical element or a photoelectric element (not shown) such as LIF, D, etc. In this example, as in the previous embodiment, each dimensional accuracy of the connector housing, such as SII+s+2°3Iff+sin in FIG. 6, is manufactured with high precision by molding. Other configurations, operations, and effects are the same as those of the previous embodiment.

As explained above, the printed board package according to the present invention includes a connector housing, a reinforcing frame portion,
Since the guide rail and the insertion/extraction lever support are integrally formed as a pan cage frame by molding, the connector housing can be easily positioned with high accuracy and can be manufactured uniformly for a large number of packages, and the position relative to the shelf can be adjusted to a high position. It is manufactured with precision, allows for smooth plug-in operation to the shelf, and can be applied not only to electrical connectors but also to optical connectors. Furthermore, since the package frame is integrally molded, the number of parts is reduced, the number of assembly steps is reduced, and assembly work is simplified. In addition, since the reinforcing frame is provided with ventilation holes, the ventilation due to convection is not impaired and heat dissipation is improved.
