Claims (1)
応器３内に着脱可能に嵌挿される触媒ケース５で
あつて、該触媒ケース５はその両端に排出ガスの
流入口および流出口を有しその外周表面に、反応
器３の内周壁と係合し且つ該ケース本体と反応器
内周壁間に一定の間隔を保持するための突起片７
を具備するとともに、ケース内部には、対向的に
平行配置された一対のシート状金網側板９，９間
に触媒１０を充填して一枚のシート状触媒層を形
成し、該シート状触媒層を断面渦巻状に、隣接触
媒層間に一定空間を隔てて巻き上げた筒形触媒層
１０′を、その隣接空間を排出ガス流とほぼ平行
に配置したことを特徴とする触媒コンバータ用触
媒ケース。 (2) 実用新案登録請求の範囲第１項の触媒コン
バータ用触媒ケースにおいて、前記断面渦形円筒
状触媒層１０′が、触媒ケース５の触媒室６中に
着脱可能に装着される中子ケース５′内に組み込
まれていることを特徴とする触媒コンバータ用触
