の網目状通気孔路を有するハニカムコア体の二つ
を、両端が開口し、かつ拡径部を有する筒状金属
ケース内に離間させて固着してなる排気ガス浄化
用触媒を担持するための排気ガス浄化装置におい
て、夫々のハニカムコア体の前記金属ケースの開
口部近傍における外周面が金属ケースの内壁面に
固着され、夫々のハニカムコア体の離間部近傍に
おける外周面が金属ケースの内壁面に当接してい
ないものであることを特徴とする排気ガス浄化装
置。 2 ハニカムコア体が、平板状帯材と波板状帯材
を相互に当接するように重積し、これを一括渦巻
き状に巻回積層して製作したものである請求項1
に記載の排気ガス浄化装置。 3 ハニカムコア体が、平板状帯材と波板状帯材
を階層状に積層して製作したものである請求項1
に記載の排気ガス浄化装置。 4 ハニカムコア体の離間部近傍における外周面
に、該外周面に固着され、かつ金属ケースの拡径
