するものである。

近時自動車用内燃機関(以後エンジンともい
う)の排気ガス対策及び性能向上のための装置に
はエンジン負圧を利用して作動させるものが多
い。これらの負圧作動装置はエンジンの負圧発生
部に負圧配管により連結されているがエンジン及
びこれら負圧作動装置の点検、調整時には前記負
圧配管を負圧作動装置より外す必要がある。然し
負圧配管の中にはこれを外した場合に負圧配管の
負圧作動装置への連結端部を塞ぐ必要のあるもの
があり、作業者は適当な盲栓で負圧配管の前記連
結端部を塞いでいた。然しこのためには適当な盲
栓を常に相当数用意しておく必要があり、盲栓が
紛失すればその数だけ補充する必要があり面倒で
あつた。
