Conventional attic ventilation is often done through the eaves, but most of them lack ventilation capacity. Moreover, in the case of ventilation using slits, the area occupied by the slits is quite large, which impairs the design of the building. On the other hand, there are some cases where perforated boards are used for the eave ceiling material for attic ventilation.
As expected, this also has problems with insufficient ventilation and design issues. Furthermore, there are some systems that ventilate the attic by attaching louvers to the gable wall, but this method has the disadvantage that it is difficult to prevent rainwater from entering through the louvers, and it also spoils the building design. Therefore, the purpose of this invention is to provide a ventilation system that can increase the ventilation capacity, does not impair the building design, and does not require rain-covering of ventilation holes.

An embodiment of this invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 4. That is, this ventilation device
The gable wall shown in the figure is used to ventilate the attic. The frame of the end wall section is constructed by erecting a gable end beam 2 made of approximately I-beam steel between columns 1, and laying crossbars 3 on the outdoor lower flange 2a of the gable end beam 2, as shown in Fig. 2. This crosspiece 3 and the upper flange 2 of the gable side land beam 2
Insert the reinforcing material 4 between the girder beams 7 and the purlins 8, lay the cross beams 5 on the upper flange 2b of the girder side land beam 2, and set the bundles 6 upright at intervals on the upper surface of the cross beams 5. The upper parts of the bundles 6 are connected and fixed to the central part of the rafters 9 by means of inclined bridges 9.

Gable side land beam 2 of the frame of the gable wall portion formed in this way
As shown in Fig. 3, on the outdoor side of the
to be fixed. This draining iron plate 10 has a rear bent piece 10a provided at the upper end edge inserted between the upper flange 2b of the gable side land beam 2 and the crosspiece 5, and a draining bulge piece 10b provided at the lower end of the gable side land beam 2. It is fixed by coming into contact with the lower hanging piece 2c of No.2. Furthermore, a folded plate-like gable wall base material 11 is fixed to the outdoor surface of the draining iron plate 10, which extends vertically from the draining iron plate 10 to the lower surface of the rafter 9 (FIG. 1). This gable wall base material 11 has a plurality of convex portions 11a extending in the vertical direction (only two rows are shown in FIG. 3).
A large number of attic ventilation holes 12 are vertically arranged on both sides of a flat plate part 11b between a pair of adjacent convex parts 11a. Furthermore, gable wall base material 11
A gable wall finishing material 13 is fixed to the outdoor surface of the wall. In this case, the vicinity of the back end of each of the adjacent gable wall finishing materials 13 is brought into contact with both convex portions 11a of the gable wall base material 11, and the side end surfaces 13a of the gable wall finishing materials 13 are spaced apart from each other to face each other for ventilation. A slit 14 is formed, and the lower part of the end wall finishing material 13 is placed and fixed on the draining bulge piece 10b of the draining iron plate 10. In this case, the ventilation slit 14 is connected to both convex portions 11 of the gable wall base material 11.
a so that the attic ventilation hole 12 cannot be seen through the ventilation slit 14 from the outdoor side.

As a result of this configuration, as shown in FIG. 4, the outdoors and the attic can be communicated through the ventilation slit 14 and the attic ventilation hole 12, and the attic can be ventilated. Furthermore, since only the ventilation slits 14 appear on the exterior of the building and the attic ventilation holes 12 are hidden by the gable wall finishing material 13, the exterior of the building is clean and aesthetically pleasing. At the same time, since the intrusion of rainwater from the attic ventilation hole 12 is also prevented, there is no need for special treatment for the attic ventilation hole 12 to shut off rain. Furthermore, since a large number of attic ventilation holes 12 can be formed on the entire gable wall, the ventilation capacity can be increased.

Another embodiment of this invention is shown in FIG. That is, this ventilation system uses the gable wall base material 15 shown in FIG. 5 in place of the folded plate-shaped gable wall base material 11 shown in FIG. This gable wall base material 15 is made by fixing a pair of bending members 18 and 19 in parallel to the outdoor surface of a flat plate member 17 in which a large number of ventilation holes 16 are arranged in two vertical rows. Outdoor end 18
a, 19a respectively fit the opposing surfaces 13a of the gable wall finishing material 13, and the outdoor end portions 18a, 1
A ventilation slit 14 is simultaneously formed between 9a. Moreover, the protruding sides 18b, 1 of the bending members 18, 19
9b fulfills the function of the convex portion 11a in FIG. The other configurations are the same as the above embodiment,
The same effect can be achieved.

As described above, the ventilation system of this invention includes a gable end beam, a rafter placed above the gable wall beam,
A pair of protrusions extending vertically from the outdoor surface of the gable end beam to the rafters are provided to project outdoors, and a large number of attic ventilation holes are provided vertically on both sides of the flat plate between the two protrusions. The gable wall base materials arranged in the direction are arranged side by side with their back side end portions abutting on both the convex portions, and their side end surfaces are spaced apart from each other to form ventilation slits. Since it is equipped with a gable wall finishing material with a slit facing the center of the flat plate part, ventilation capacity is improved, the building design is not compromised, and there is no need to perform rain-blocking treatment for ventilation holes. .
