In a grinding wheel used for grinding or cutting (hereinafter simply referred to as a rotating grinding wheel), in order to improve the strength or durability of the rotating grinding wheel, the central part of the rotating grinding wheel or its A rotary grindstone with reinforcing mesh embedded in the front and back is known, but in such a rotary grindstone with mesh, especially in a rotary grindstone with mesh in the front and back, the mesh easily peels off during use, and does not serve as a reinforcing body. In addition to weakening, the abrasive grains tend to fall off as the mesh peels off, shortening the life of the rotating grinding wheel, and there are other inconveniences such as the abrasive grains scattering and posing a danger to workers. Ta.

Specifically, the present invention solves the above-mentioned drawbacks and inconveniences by attaching a resin film such as vinyl or polyethylene to both the front and back surfaces of the rotary whetstone when the rotary whetstone is press-formed. By using colored or decorated with letters, patterns, etc., it is possible to produce rotary grindstones with high commercial value.

A is a female type with a planar circular shape, and B is the female type A.
It is a male type installed opposite to. Now, to describe the structure of this female mold A, numeral 1 is a planar circular substrate, a cutout groove 2 having an L-shaped cross section is formed around the substrate 1, and a notch groove 2 having an L-shaped cross section is formed at the center of the substrate 1. A hole 3 is bored in the part. 4 is an annular frame body formed to be fitted into the L-shaped notch groove 2;
A vertical shaft 5 is fixed at a proper position on the frame 4, and the lower end of the shaft 5 is loosely inserted into a through hole 6 formed in the horizontal portion of the notched groove 2. 7
is a spring that is interposed between the L-shaped notch groove 2 and the annular frame 4 and supported by the shaft 5, and the elastic action of this spring pushes up the frame 4 and pushes the upper surface of the frame 4. A recess 8 is formed between the upper surface of the substrate 1 and the upper surface of the substrate 1. Reference numeral 9 designates a piece that is loosely fitted into the hole 3. A spring 10 is interposed between the piece 9 and the bottom of the hole 3, and the elasticity of the spring 10 causes the upper surface of the piece 9 to move into the annular frame 4. It is held so that it approximately coincides with the top surface of. Reference numeral 11 denotes a release sheet laid on the bottom of the recess 8 formed by the substrate 1 and the frame 4, and this release sheet is made of, for example, glass woven or knitted from glass fibers. It is advantageous to have a fibernet impregnated and coated with a fluorine resin, and the release sheet 11 is provided to facilitate the separation between the resin film and the heated mold described below. The above is the structure of the female mold A, and a mold release sheet 11' formed in the same manner as the mold release sheet 11 is attached to the pressing surface of the male mold B opposite to the female mold A. It is.

First, inside the recess 8 of the female mold A, that is, the release sheet 1
A resin film 12 made of polyethylene, vinyl, or the like is laid on the upper surface of the grinding wheel 1, and then a reinforcing net 13 to serve as a reinforcing body for the grinding wheel is laid on the resin film 12. Furthermore, this reinforcing net 1
3 is filled with a forming material 14 for a grindstone, that is, a known forming material mixed with abrasive grains, a hardening agent, etc., and then a reinforcing net similar to the reinforcing net 13 is placed on top of the forming material. 13', and the resin film 12 is placed on the net 13'.
A resin film 12' similar to the above is laid down. Then, the male die B is lowered and the materials placed in the female die are heated and pressurized to flatten the raw materials, and reinforcing nets 13, 13' and The resin films 12, 12' are thermally welded.

Furthermore, due to the action of the mold release sheets 11, 11', the resin films 12, 12' are not attached to the pressing surface of the mold. That is, by obtaining a rotary grinding wheel having a reinforcing net with a resin film affixed to the front and back sides of the rotary grinding wheel, peeling of the reinforcing nets 13, 13' or falling off of the abrasive grains can be avoided when the rotary grinding wheel is used. It is possible to provide a rotary grindstone with an improved appearance and commercial value by appropriately coloring the resin film, or by adding letters or patterns to the resin film.

Furthermore, since raw materials such as abrasive grains are not directly attached to the pressing surface of the mold during molding with a rotary grindstone, the mold is effectively prevented from being contaminated or damaged due to filling with raw materials, which has great benefits. There is something.
