Abstract

PURPOSE:To raise the durability and general applicability of a diaphragm by a method in which a rubber is cast into each cavity formed between three split molds constituting a diaphragm mold to cause it to the molds, the intermediate rubber alone is taken out, and a base cloth is put between the upper and lower rubbers, followed by vulcanization. CONSTITUTION:A semi-vulcanized rubber is cast into each cavity formed between three split molds to form halved moldings of a final product. A base cloth is put between both the halved moldings of semi-vulcanized rubber, and the rubber is then completely vulcanized. には一般に補強用の基布(5)が埋設されている。この
基布(5)は、該基布(5)が製品ダイア72ムの表面
(上下面)に露出していると、第1に当該ダイアフラム
が組み付けられるケースやセンターグレートとの接触摩
耗によって切断され易いこと、第2にゴム材と基布が疲
労によって剥離し、亀裂が入シ易いこと、第3に当該ダ
イアフラムの使用雰囲気に対してその低圧側に基布を入
れるのが妥当な設計であるため、交番圧力が加わる条件
下での使用に不適切であること等から、製品ダイアフラ
ムの表面に露出せず、ゴム材の内部に埋め込まれた状態
、すなわち当該ダイアフラムの中央に配設されるのが望
ましい。この点に関し、先に示した比較的平たく成形さ
れたダイアフラム(1)(2)(第1図および第2図)
は、第5図に示すように、基布(5)の両面に未加硫ゴ

方法を提唱し、上記従来方法における問題点を一挙に解
消せんとするものである。すなわち本発明方法によれば
、3枚割の各型の間に形成される上下キャビティの各各
に半加硫ゴムを流し込むことによって、最終の製品形状
を二分割した形状を、半加硫ゴム材料をもって形成し、
ついで両生加硫ゴム部分の間に基布を挿入して完全に加
硫する手順としたため、その後の加硫工程等におい、て
基布に皺が寄ることがなく、精巧々基布中央品を製作で
きるのみでなく、上下半加硫ゴムの特性が異なることも
なく、耐久性および汎用性に優れたダイ ゛アン2ムを
提供することができる。さらに本発明は前記工程途中に
おいて離脱せしめられる中ゴム型を、半加硫ゴムが粘着
しがたい材負をもって製するか、あるいはテフロンコー
ティング等によって半加硫ゴムが粘着しがたい状態に表
頁処理したことを特徴とするものである。これにより、
該中ゴム型を離脱させる際に、上下キャビティ内に在る
半加刺Cゴムを中ゴム型の動きに追梶させることなく、
確実にキャビティ内に残すことができる。
