Abstract

PURPOSE:To correct distortion of an endless strip by a roller leveller by disposing a take-up device for applying tension to a drum, and driving a driving device. CONSTITUTION:An endless strip is extended between two drums 2, 3, and when the drum 3 is driven through a motor and a speed reduction gear, the endless strip is moved in direction of an arrow (d). Proper tension is applied to one tension drum 2 through a support arm 4 by a take-up driving source 11. At the start of correcting the endless strip, a press-down roll is lifted up to gradually decrease the press-down amount, until the press-down amount becomes zero. Thus, correction is completed. By this operation, the endless strip is subjected to repeated bending and tensile action to be corrected.

逐次変化しうるように構成し、また複数個のローラの軸
の支持装置の片側を側方に開閉自在とし、かつローラレ
ベラも開閉自在として無端ストリップとの挿脱を容易に
したことを特徴とするものである。
