Artificial decorative veneers are obtained by decolorizing and dyeing material veneers sliced from inexpensive trees or sawn timber, and slicing flitches made by laminating the veneers. Conventionally, there has been artificial decorative veneer, which is made by tying different wood species together to create wood grains with varying colors on the surface. Such artificial decorative veneers were manufactured by combining flitches made of dyed single wires of different wood species into one piece and then slicing them together. However, this method is 1
.. When slicing the composite flitch, different species of wood are sliced at the same time, which causes problems such as chipping on the adhesive surface between the veneers and leaving blade marks on the sliced surface due to the difference in cutting resistance. occurred, making accurate slicing difficult.

This invention involves bleaching and dyeing raw wood veneers made by cutting or slicing raw wood, laminating them with adhesive to create flitches, and slicing the veneers to obtain artificial decorative veneers. This manufacturing method is characterized by cutting out parts of several types of flitches of different colors made from logs of the same tree species, combining parts of these flitches as appropriate to make a composite flitch, and slicing this. The gist is the manufacturing method of the veneer. This will be explained in detail below.

The veneer manufacturing method according to this invention involves, in order to obtain the raw material veneer (hereinafter referred to as "raw material veneer"), the raw wood is made of a single species, and the raw wood is rotary cut, or the raw wood is first sawn into lumber. After taking out the lumber, the lumber is sliced, etc. At this time, the thickness of the material veneer is approximately 0.5 m~2.
Preferably it is O**. The obtained material veneer is bleached and dyed to make a dyed veneer. At that time, we will create several types of stained veneers with different tones by changing the bleaching conditions or dyeing conditions, or by changing both the bleaching conditions and dyeing conditions. Differences in decolorization and staining conditions are the processing time and processing method.

The difference lies in the drugs, etc. These dyed veneers are laminated by type using adhesive, and flitches are made from this laminated wood. Adhesives used for assembly include polyurethane, urea, and melamine adhesives, but are not particularly limited. In this way, a portion is cut from each of several types of flitches made from logs of the same tree species. Some of the cut out flitches are appropriately combined and integrated so as to obtain a desired color expression, thereby creating a composite flitch having several types of color tones. Furthermore, by slicing this composite flitch, artificial decorative veneers with desired color expression can be obtained.

When cutting out a portion of the initial flitch obtained by laminating dyed veneers, there is no particular restriction on the cutting method. For example, as shown by the chain lines in FIGS. 1(al) and 1(b), the edges 1a and 2a of the flitches may be cut diagonally. The thickness of the dyed veneer may be changed.-The plurality of flitches 1 and 2 are arranged as shown in FIG.
1, they are combined to form a composite flitch 3. The composite flitch 3 is sliced along its edge 3a to obtain an artificial decorative veneer 4, as shown in dl in the same figure.

An example of the method for producing a veneer according to the present invention will be shown below (Example) A raw material veneer was obtained by cutting agathis to a thickness of 1.0 mm, and this was obtained from PM Brown (manufactured by Sumitomo Chemical Co., Ltd.) 0. Two types of dyed veneers with different color densities were obtained by dyeing in 0.2% hot water at 95°C for two different times, 2 hours and 4 hours. Apply polyurethane adhesive (KU709) to each dyed veneer by color.
1. The laminated wood was laminated by coating (100 g/d) and pressed at room temperature for 1 hour (pressure: 10 kg/cn).
We made flitches of each of these laminated timbers. Cut out a portion from each colored flitch and apply polyurethane adhesive (K
U7091, application amount 50g/rrr) was used to integrate and adhere by pressing (pressure 5kg/ci) at room temperature for 1 hour.
A composite flitch was obtained. Add this to a thickness of 0.3 along the edge surface.
The fins were sliced to obtain artificial decorative veneers. The resulting veneer had a grain closer to the desired one than conventional veneers made of a combination of wood from different species. The composite flitch also facilitated accurate slicing.

As described above, the method for manufacturing a veneer according to the present invention involves bleaching and dyeing raw wood veneers made by cutting or slicing raw wood, laminating them with adhesive to create flitches, and slicing the veneers. This is a veneer manufacturing method to obtain artificially decorated veneer by cutting out a portion from several types of flitches with different tones made from logs of the same tree species.
It is characterized by combining and integrating parts of these flitches as appropriate to create a composite flitch, which is then sliced. Because the composite flitch is made from a single species of wood, the adhesive surface may be chipped or the sliced surface may be damaged. The effect is that accurate slicing can be easily performed without leaving a blade shape. In addition, since colors are expressed using only a single species of wood, rather than using multiple pieces of wood from different tree species, the resulting wood grain can be harmonized as a whole, and the wood grain is more similar to that of natural wood. This also has the effect of being able to obtain the following.
