A conventional polarizing plate cutting device has a structure as shown in FIG. A polarizing original plate 2 affixed to the upper surface of the bottom plate 1 with an adhesive tape 1a is held by a feed roller 3 and a pressure roller 4, and is sent below a cutter blade 6 on a base 5 at a constant pitch. The cutter blade 6 is fixed to a die set 7, and the die set 7 is fixed to a ram 9 that moves up and down along a slide guide 8 fixed to the base 5.

Therefore, as described above, the ram 9 moves up and down each time the original polarizing plate 2 is fed by a certain pitch, and is cut as shown by the cutting line 2a. In this case, the cut of the power cutter blade 6 is made halfway through the bottom plate 1, as shown in FIG.

As described above, the conventional polarizing plate cutting device can only cut the polarizing plate in the direction perpendicular to the direction in which the original polarizing plate is introduced, which requires manual labor as explained in FIG. 3(a). Attaching many types of adhesive tapes 12 and 14 as explained in (b) lc) and (d) requires a lot of work and has poor workability. Furthermore, as is clear from FIG. 3 (61), there are many connections using adhesive tapes 12 and 14 for short polarizing plates, and the polarizing plates at these connections do not have a predetermined shape and are wasted. Material usage efficiency is very poor.

An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIG. The base 20 is provided with guide rollers 21 and 22, a feed reeler 23 and a pressure roller 24 that are driven by a driving means (not shown), and are similar to a band-shaped original polarizing plate 25 wound into a roll. The belt-shaped bottom plate 26 wound into a roll is held between the rollers 21 to 24 and fed by the rotation of the feed roller 23. The base 20
A slide guide 27 is fixed to each side of the slide guide 27, and a ram 28 is disposed on the slide guide 27 so as to be movable up and down. A die set 30 to which a power filter blade 29 is fixed is disposed on the lower surface of the ram 28, and the die set 30 is fixed to the ram 28 by bolts 31 through an arcuate groove 28m provided in the ram 28. ing. Therefore, by loosening the bolt 31 and rotating the die set 30, the cutter blade 29 can be adjusted to an arbitrary angle with respect to the feeding direction of the original polarizing plate 25. This angle setting is done using the scale 3 provided on the base 20.
It can be easily determined by 2.

Then, when the feed roller 23 is driven, the original polarizing plate 25
and the bottom plate 26 are overlapped by guide rollers 21 and 22, and are intermittently pitched below the cutter blade 29 by a feed roller 23 and a pressure roller 24. Each time the polarizing original plate 25 and the bottom plate 26 are intermittently pitch-fed, the ram 28 moves up and down, and as shown in FIG. A cut of 25 m in width W is made at an angle of θ.

In this way, since it can be cut at any angle, the conventional process of manual diagonal cutting and multiple application of adhesive tape is unnecessary, and the number of man-hours is significantly reduced. In addition, the minimum number of cuts is two, and there are no unnecessary cutting lines, so material utilization efficiency is greatly improved. Also power ° Tsuta Blade 2
Since the angle settings of 9 can be arbitrarily selected, conventional orthogonal cutting is also possible, providing versatility.

As is clear from the above description, according to the present invention, a die set to which a force-putter blade is fixed is fixed to a vertically moving ram so that the angle can be adjusted with respect to the feeding direction of the original polarizing plate. When cutting the polarizing plate by arbitrarily selecting the angle of the absorption axis, the number of man-hours can be reduced and the efficiency of material usage can be improved.
