Abstract

PURPOSE:To prepare pellets liberating O2 stably for a long time when it is thrown into water without causing crumbling in the water by molding a mixture consisting of a specified ratio of calcium peroxide, gypsum or siliceous sand, calcium orthophosphate, MnO2, and carbon. CONSTITUTION:After mixing 10-50pts.wt. calcium peroxide, 10-50pts.wt. gypsum or siliceous sand, 20-45pts.wt. calcium orthophosphate, 3-8pts.wt. MnO2, and 1-5pts.wt. carbon, the mixture is compression molded to form pellets. When the pellet is thrown into water, O2 is liberated stably for a long time. The water does not becomes turbid at all because the pellets are not crumbled nor dissolved in water, and elution of harmful substance from the pellets is inhibited. Since no harmful substance is contained in the water, the method is advantageously useful for transporting live fish, cultivation of fishery products, and for cut-flowers, etc.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION (Industrial Application Field) The present invention relates to an oxygen-releasing tablet, and more particularly,
This invention relates to an oxygen-generating tablet that can stably release oxygen for a long period of time when placed in water, and can be particularly advantageously used for transporting live fish, cultivating seafood, and cutting flowers.

(Prior art) Conventionally, tablets that release oxygen when placed in water include percarbonate powder,
There are tablets made by pressure molding hydrogen peroxide adducts such as sodium perborate, but for that purpose, these tablets are manufactured to release a large amount of oxygen at once, and these tablets cannot be immersed in water. The water becomes cloudy because it collapses.

(Means for Solving the Problems) That is, the present invention provides 10 to 50 parts by weight of calcium peroxide,
The present invention relates to an oxygen-generating tablet formed by mixing 10 to 50 parts by weight of gypsum or silica sand, 20 to 45 parts by weight of monobasic calcium phosphate, 3 to 8 parts by weight of manganese dioxide, and 1 to 5 parts by weight of carbon, and then press-molding the mixture.

Calcium peroxide itself has the property of gradually decomposing in water and releasing oxygen, and is the most suitable substance as the oxygen-generating component of the present invention. However, calcium peroxide has the risk of exploding due to friction or impact. In general, when compressed into tablets, the composition of the formulation must be selected within the above range.

(Function) Regarding the effects of each component in the tablet of the present invention, calcium peroxide is an oxygen-generating component, and gypsum or silica sand plays a role as a carrier as well as inside the tightly compressed tablet. It also plays a role in forming a pathway for oxygen generation so that oxygen can be released from Monobasic calcium phosphate is a decomposer of calcium peroxide in water, and manganese dioxide is a catalyst that accelerates its decomposition. Carbon acts as a lubricant when compressing the formulation into tablets.
